  1. First, you download a roster update file off the internet. Then, you use a USB cable and a program to transfer the file from your PC to a memory card. Finally, you just stick the memory card in your controller, save the file to your Xbox's hard drive, and load the roster file in MVP Baseball or whatever game you want.

  3. You can't just assume that Willie's SB success rate would have stayed at 80% if he had tried to steal as much as Taveras. It more than likely wouldn't have.
  4. http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2006/01/pirates_interes.html It would be funny if he got back on the roids and killed the Flubs.

  6. You can get roster updates if you have an Action Replay... http://us.codejunkies.com/shop/product.asp...&l=1&ProdID=119
  7. Phil Rogers thinks that Tejada will be traded soon. Here's the part of his article which relates to the Sox... http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sp...ack=1&cset=true
  8. An interesting note is that Willy Taveras is a Boras client, although he will still be cheap for years regardless.
  9. According to Arnie Munoz's minor league numbers at Charlotte in 2005, he started 18 games but pitched in 40 total games. Does anyone have his 2005 stats as a reliever?
  10. That too. I love this... Jermaine Dye: 3-years, $15 million (assuming we pick up his $6 million option in 2007) Jock Jones: 3-years, $16 million
  11. And Jock Jones-type production is pretty good from center field. It just sucks from right field where the Cubs will have him.
  12. "Durrr... what's da score of da Cubbies game? Durrr..."
  13. Not to mention the fact that Taveras's 2005 season really wasn't all that great. Well, it was great if you only look at things like AVG and SB.
  14. But your argument is that Willy Taveras is a "proven player" because of his one good season (2005). Shingo was also good for only one season (2004). Couldn't Taveras very well suck in 2006 just like Shingo did in 2005? A "proven player" is a player who has put up more than one good season.
  15. Yep, the Sox traded Shingo (a proven player because of his 2004 season just like Willy Taveras and his 2005 season) because they thought that the unproven player Bobby Jenks would be better. Funny how that works out, huh?
  16. I think Willie's holding out for a few more million.
  17. Well, Mackowiak can play some center field. And I thought you wanted Taveras as a starter over Anderson, not a backup plan.
  18. Regardless, they still took a chance on an unproven player. Some sources have said that we are over payroll as well. Why not take a chance on Anderson? How would Anderson ever be able to show you or anyone else that he's a good player if he never gets a chance to play?
