  1. Why don't the Orioles make sense? The Orioles said they would probably move Javy Lopez to first base with the addition of Ramon Hernandez. C Ramon Hernandez 1B Javy Lopez DH Frank Thomas
  2. Oh, come on. It's pretty funny. If people didn't do stupid crap like this and post it on the internet, they wouldn't be exposed and made fun of. Common sense would indicate that it's pretty moronic for a 13 year old girl to be allowed to put this crap on the internet.
  3. I just heard Boers and Bernstein on the Score say it so I checked it out. You don't think that it's a coincidence that MySpace took the page down just now? It's most likely James Dungy's page.
  4. Wow, I guess that was really James Dungy's website. MySpace took it down for "routine maintenance." http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea...iendID=41899442
  5. Yeah, ummm, disturbing. Come one, come all pedophiles!
  6. Because that would destroy the MLB's secret agenda of the Yankees having a chance to win the World Series every year.
  7. If there was a salary cap in baseball, the problem would solve itself.
  8. The Score here in Chicago is saying that the Twins' pursuit of Frank Thomas is now over with the addition of Rondell White. The Twins will use White primarily as their DH and maybe start him every so often in the outfield.
  9. Don't the Yankees do it every year?
  10. It's called "posturing." Do you really think KW is going to say, "I WANT TO TRADE JON GARLAND! OKAY, NOW EVERY TEAM MAKE CRAPPY TRADE OFFERS TO ME! K? THX!"
  11. Look at the Mark Mulder trade of last offseason. Look at the Javier Vazquez trade of this offseason. Both the Cardinals and the White Sox gave up good talent in the trades for a proven starting pitcher.
  12. Is anyone else worried about KW not getting enough value back for Garland? It's not often that he's the one trading away the proven player for prospects, etc. Usually it's the other way around.
  13. Exactly, they aren't expected to pursue Frank now.
  14. The Twinkies have found their DH.
  15. for the Dungy family. I don't even know what the hell I'm looking at.

  17. I know. I guess Redding has had command problems ever since his good 2003 season. He was supposed to be a solid #5 starter for the Padres last season. He's still young (27) and supposedly has really good stuff. This is a Cooper reclamation project (shades of the Esteban Loaiza signing in 2003). If we trade Garland and Redding pans out in spring training, he could be our longman / 6th starter. I doubt he does though.
  18. Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Of course, he will have to not get rocked in Spring Training first.
  19. http://www.suntimes.com/output/sox/cst-spt-sox22.html That part of the article is laughable. Redding had one good season in 2003 with the Astros but has pretty much been horrible his entire career. But I guess he's worth a shot as a long reliever / injury spot starter if he has a good spring training. I remember him getting shellacked with the Yankees last season though.
