  1. The Score is talking about trying to get the White Sox to open up the Cell during the away games so fans can watch the games on the big screen.
  2. "Let's go, Go-Go White Sox!"
  3. The White Sox are trying to get Luis Aparicio to throw out the first pitch in Game 1. I just heard it on the Score.
  4. I alse heard that the rotation would stay in the same order on the Score. The Sox are practicing at the Cell today and the next few days.
  5. The beginning of November. You don't think Rowand has a chance, do you? They only pick guys with good offensive numbers. Vernon Wells will win it again anyways. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/stats/fieldi...umn=fieldingPct
  6. Well, they don't just have Pujols. They have an all-around better offense than the Astros. They also play better fundamental baseball. But the ALDS and ALCS have shown us that our pitchers can shut down good hitters. I guess I'd have to agree with you then.
  7. One team has Pujols while the other team has Clemens, Oswalt, and Pettitte. Either way, it's a tough choice.
  8. Probably Greg Couch. He has been a tool all season. Aaron Rowand told him to shove his columns up his ass a week ago.
  9. Right now, the Cardinals have all the momentum but they still have to face Oswalt and Clemens. If the Cardinals can force a Game 7, I would have to go with them.
  10. Agreed. While I don't dislike Vlad, Pujols is all class. A-Rod is a whiner and a cheapass (remember the ball-slap on Bronson Arroyo?).
  11. Before tonight's game, the Astros were 81-1 when leading after 8 innings this season. The only game the Astros lost was the save that Lidge blew against the Cubs in the last series of the season between the two teams. Why would Bagwell need to throw if he was DH'ing?
  12. And Jeff Bagwell could DH during the games at the Cell. It wouldn't be fun facing Frank Thomas' white clone.
  13. I wonder who will be the N.L. MVP?
  14. I agree with you. It's a toss-up on who we should want to face. On one hand, the Cardinals play fundamental baseball and have Pujols. On the other hand, the Astros have the big three of Clemens, Oswalt, and Pettitte.
  15. Pujols' homer was crushed. He almost hit it over the tracks.
  16. Has a crowd ever went more dead that fast? Oh wait, 2003 Cubs at Wrigley.
  17. Yep, I'm smelling a Cubs-esque choke here. Now the Astros have to go to St. Louis.
  18. Berkman's homer was a 315 foot cheapie. Pujols smashed his.
  19. The tying run was already on base. Eckstein was at 2nd base and Edmonds was on 1st base with a walk. This could be the start of a Cubs-esque meltdown.
  20. Lidge has nasty stuff but his control sucks at times. Why in the f*** would you ever walk Edmonds to face Pujols. Make Edmonds beat you.
  21. OMFG, Lidge is a dumbass. Haha. He walked Edmonds to face Pujols.
  22. None of our pitchers finished with 119 pitches and they were also already into the 9th with more than a 1-run lead. The risk was far smaller for our pitchers than for Carpenter pitching with a high pitch count in the 7th inning with only a 1-run lead.
