Javier Lopez is signed to a minor league deal. I believe they can assign him to the minors whenever they want to. Sean Tracey... another guy I would trade for a reliable reliever.

Thornton is out of options. He would have to clear waivers to be sent to AAA which is unlikely because he's a lefty who throws 96 MPH. Unfortunately, I think he will make our opening day roster and they may try to slip him through waivers to Charlotte later in the season. Javier Lopez is signed to a minor league deal.
