  1. Thome pinch-hitting for Danks.
  2. The weak grounder scores the run. 4-3, 2 outs, bases empty.
  3. Come on Danky. Let's get out of here with a 2 run lead.
  4. Quentin is awesome. Cabrera gets a hold of one. Yay.
  5. I'd do it, because if Leiber or Marquis were on the mound, I could say the 1st pitch was the best one of the game.
  6. FYI, Carlos Quentin > You.
  7. QUOTE (knightni @ May 17, 2008 -> 04:44 PM) LOUD NOISES! I DON'T KNOW WHAT WE'RE YELLING ABOUT!
  8. QUOTE (knightni @ May 17, 2008 -> 12:54 AM) I thought that DJ called it? Nope, it was Hawk. Something to the tune of "Here is Alexei and he is going to hit his 1st major league home run right here to put us up."
  9. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ May 16, 2008 -> 10:55 PM) Whats up Doc........... Halladay is arguably the best pitcher in the league right now. If Floyd was anything close to that, Gio and DLS will be long forgotten.
  10. Wow. Utah got 2 chances to hit a 3 and tie the game but Okur and Williams each missed. What an ending.
  11. RAMIREZ, AJ, FLOYD, BULLPEN.... 5-3 so far on the road-trip.
  12. Bobby Jenks! THIS BALLGAME IS OVAH!
  13. Durham was one of my favorite White Sox of all time. I really do miss him. I remember one of my 1st games where he was signing autographs above the dugout and he was having a conversation with all the fans. It was really great to see.
  14. The nasty curveball. He gawn! 1 dead.
  15. This pitcher comes straight out of the school of Rod Beck Arm Dangling.
  16. QUOTE (That funky motion @ May 16, 2008 -> 10:40 PM) Remember when he would at least get a walk here and there. Those first few weeks, anything close was a ball. He had a great eye. Now, he's so out of wack he can't do anything.
  17. Swisher has not been hitting well of late, but that isn't a strike. He's been getting pretty unlucky with calls too.
  18. Paulie is jerking his head incredibly bad up there. There is no way he is saying the ball to the bat.
  19. QUOTE (lostfan @ May 16, 2008 -> 10:34 PM) If you were to guess it based off Soxtalk gameday posts you'd think it was in the low 6's and that he was a complete waste of money that we're stuck with now. He's generally been pretty damn effective. Of course he's had a couple bad outings but what pitcher doesn't? I know he's had a bad outing or 2, but you're right, reading the board I assumed he was in the 4's or so, nothing exceptional. When they showed a 1.85, I was shocked.
  20. Sit down Rowand. Any chance Linebrink gets some All-Star consideration as a sick set-up man? Maybe Dotel even? He has more K's than some SP's.
  21. Wow, I had no clue Linerbrink's ERA was so awesome.
  22. CQ with the steal. Is there anything this man doesn't do?
  23. CQ has drawn a lot of walks since his GS in Anaheim.
  24. I honestly don't remember the last time Cabrera hit one hard.
  25. Our bullpen has been very pleasant to watch.
