I dislocated my knee-cap for the 6th time today. It sucks ass.- Supermarket Frozen Pizza
I will submit, though, that the best drunken food ever...Totino's Pizza Rolls. I dare you to say otherwise.- Negative Catch All ~ House of Blues
The only negative thing I can even think of is that we're 1-3 in night games, which isn't good when the heart of the season rolls around.- Supermarket Frozen Pizza
I don't like Tony's at all. I find that frozen pizza's never have good sauce. It's almost always on the sweeter side. Tombstone and Red Baron are the go-to frozen pizza's for me.- 4/13 Gamethread: Sox (6-4) vs. Detroit (2-9); 1:05, WGN
QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 13, 2008 -> 11:40 AM) Cloudy and temps around 40. Shouldn't rain. Breezy. A minutes ago, Dan Roan was out on the Fan Deck and it was pretty sunny, looks cold though. BTW, Ozzie just said "Jake Jones."- Gavin Floyd
This is going nowhere. Keep the "Eat Crow Soxtalk!!11!!" threads to a minimum please. We're 2 weeks into the season...- 4/13 Gamethread: Sox (6-4) vs. Detroit (2-9); 1:05, WGN
QUOTE (Kalapse @ Apr 13, 2008 -> 12:01 PM) Could Ozzie's use of Carlos Quentin in the leadoff spot -- as opposed to Ozuna or Ramirez -- be a sign of a total shift in leadoff-man philosophy for Ozzie Guillen? Has he finally come around to the theory that OBP > Speed at the top? Or am I just being overly optimistic? Well, the Swisher/Quentin lead-off combo, combined with the consistency of the line-up, as well as the playing time Quentin in receiving gives me hope that this is the case.- 4/12 Gamethread: Sox (5-4) vs. Detroit (2-8); 12:05, CSN
QUOTE (DonnyDevito @ Apr 12, 2008 -> 02:35 PM) Check out the Philly board: good read http://www.philaphans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=69339 "I always thought Floyd and Hamels were the future, guarenteed. Actually, I admit I was positive Floyd would be the better of the two..." We'll gladly take Hamels on the South Side...- Sox Monument
Can't wait to go see this 1st hand. I've got pictures with the Jordan statue...this one is next.- Share your rain-out game stories here
Sox against Toronto a few years back. We had seats a section or 2 past 3rd base, about 15 rows back. We get there and its sunny, by 7 o'clock, its 40 degrees with freezing rain. Game gets postponed, I catch a cold. On the drive home, barely a sprinkle. Sat at the park for a solid 2 hours.- Happy Birthday ZoomSlowik!

Pierzynski takes out Harris, the throw goes to the dugout, Anderson scores, and CQ gets an RBI.- Danks (0-0) vs. Baker (1-0): MAKE IT SIX!
