  1. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 7, 2007 -> 07:47 PM) Good for them....drafting like they want to win. Porcello and Crosby. Phew.
  2. QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Jun 7, 2007 -> 07:46 PM) [berman]Oh no![/berman] Another one. The Miller guy must be putting everyone in a good mood.
  3. QUOTE(The Critic @ Jun 7, 2007 -> 07:42 PM) I hate that f***in' guy. I mute the sound because of that douche. LMAO.
  4. Yeah, more pitchers. Glad we don't have a hole at the middle-infield positions.
  5. QUOTE(beautox @ Jun 7, 2007 -> 07:42 PM) oh we got a middlebrooks hes currently talking to dj. I was just about to say that. "Proof the whole world ain't going crazy."
  6. Kozma off the board? I missed the last few picks.
  7. QUOTE(danman31 @ Jun 7, 2007 -> 07:30 PM) simmonsfield.com After seeing Carpenter in person he definitely is a projectable arm. If the Sox can teach him some control, wow. He has major movement on his balls. I giggled.
  8. Anybody got a scouting report on Middlebrooks? Why is he slipping so far?
  9. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Jun 7, 2007 -> 07:24 PM) He's not pretty, mister I'm as pretty as you are straight.
  10. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jun 7, 2007 -> 07:18 PM) Everybody laughed last night at the projection that we'd pass on Porcello, take a project, and the Tigers would take Porcello instead. I guess the people around here haven't learned about Kenny and our scouts yet, they aren't very smart. That, or you are just far too wise to be on a message board.
  11. Even though it's a bit small of a sample size, it looks like Griffith can easily add a few ticks on his fastball. He'll learn to get a longer stride and bend that front knee a little, while using his back foot to push off the rubber more. That, and the fact that he's still young and could grow into his body more tells me a lot. He's got some nice sink on that fastball. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Jun 7, 2007 -> 07:18 PM) Why ruin the thread? Shut up.
  12. We might as well bring a little game thread in here.
  13. Looking at the video, Ely certainly gets into good fielding position.
  14. If this is the right Leroy Hunt, he was drafted out of High School by the Reds in 2005.
  15. RHP, Leroy Hunt, Sacramento CC 6'6, 220. Hard thrower. What new?
  16. Sox on the clock, Middlebrooks is there.
  17. QUOTE(beautox @ Jun 7, 2007 -> 07:00 PM) i think middlebrooks would be a great pick, if he can't cut it as a MI, he can move to the mound. I thought he was a 3rd baseman?
  18. QUOTE(danman31 @ Jun 7, 2007 -> 06:55 PM) I wrote the Poreda summary and Heads is forced to actually do stuff now. We'll have more info later, don't you worry. I think our draft coverage is our best feature, maybe that's just me. Oh, I wasn't taking a shot. It was funny to me because I read Heads' post immediately after I read the FutureSox scouting report.
