QUOTE(danman31 @ Jun 7, 2007 -> 07:30 PM) simmonsfield.com After seeing Carpenter in person he definitely is a projectable arm. If the Sox can teach him some control, wow. He has major movement on his balls. I giggled.

Aaron Poreda selected
QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jun 7, 2007 -> 07:18 PM) Everybody laughed last night at the projection that we'd pass on Porcello, take a project, and the Tigers would take Porcello instead. I guess the people around here haven't learned about Kenny and our scouts yet, they aren't very smart. That, or you are just far too wise to be on a message board.

Even though it's a bit small of a sample size, it looks like Griffith can easily add a few ticks on his fastball. He'll learn to get a longer stride and bend that front knee a little, while using his back foot to push off the rubber more. That, and the fact that he's still young and could grow into his body more tells me a lot. He's got some nice sink on that fastball. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Jun 7, 2007 -> 07:18 PM) Why ruin the thread? Shut up.

QUOTE(beautox @ Jun 7, 2007 -> 07:00 PM) i think middlebrooks would be a great pick, if he can't cut it as a MI, he can move to the mound. I thought he was a 3rd baseman?

QUOTE(danman31 @ Jun 7, 2007 -> 06:55 PM) I wrote the Poreda summary and Heads is forced to actually do stuff now. We'll have more info later, don't you worry. I think our draft coverage is our best feature, maybe that's just me. Oh, I wasn't taking a shot. It was funny to me because I read Heads' post immediately after I read the FutureSox scouting report.
