    14lb 13 oz baby born

QUOTE(hogsmom @ Sep 16, 2006 -> 08:21 PM) My last one was 11 lb even. She was wearing med diaper at birth. My niece has had 2 large ones, 11'3' and 11'0. All are regular size now. Are they tall for their age? I grew to 6'5 and still growing and one of my friends was born 10'15 and is 6'3.
  5. Work sucks. I only got to see thee first 10 minutes of the Portsmouth/Charlton match and got a quick glimps of the Villa/Watford match. But, I have my day set tomorrow. When I wake up, it's Man United/Arsenal, then the Bears/Lions, then Racing Santander/Barcelona. Can't wait to see Zigic's Racing debut.

  11. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Sep 14, 2006 -> 05:52 PM) Plus they hinder your SECKS. I was given a new prescription today for different pain pills. They are HUGE. When I got hit with a line drive in my foot they prescribed 800mg pain killers to me.......it was khaaraazy!
  12. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Sep 14, 2006 -> 12:53 PM) I'd rather pull my groin than rip my ACL. Wouldn't I? Imagine that. Being forced to choose between your groin and knee. Ay ay ay, no me gusta! I think I'd rather have a knee problem if I had to choose. Groin problems linger on forever.

QUOTE(Felix @ Sep 14, 2006 -> 11:56 AM) I have a PCI slot open. I've ordered the sound card and speakers that you suggested, hopefully all will work out fine. I'll update this thread once I get them and such, thanks for the help guys Glad I can be of some help. You'll enjoy them.
  14. QUOTE(DrunkBomber @ Sep 13, 2006 -> 10:48 PM) Ok, sorry for the overanalyzing then, just a touchy subject with me because of how much I loved playing sports. We're on the same page then.
  15. QUOTE(DrunkBomber @ Sep 13, 2006 -> 10:34 PM) Wow, I can still pay basketball and baseball. I noticed you didnt say football and I dont know if you have had an inury like the one I had but it isnt quite that simple. The positions I played were contingent on acceleration and cutting. My ankle has been reconstructed with plates and screws and my tendon was repaired to tightly considering it was completely severed. Thats insulting to question my passion for sports I played and nobody i ever played with ever would, My ankle simply cant support it and Ill have problems walking for the rest of my life do to a drunk driver. Lots of athletes have had career ending inuries. Not everything is healable in the sports world. Tell guys like Terrell Davis, Michael Irvin, Joe Theisman they have lack of passion. Slow down there. I never questioned your passion for the game. I didn't think you meant the physical aspect, I interpreted it as if you were commenting on the mental side. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Sheesh.
  16. QUOTE(DrunkBomber @ Sep 13, 2006 -> 09:24 PM) When I was in high school I played tight end and outside linebacker and I broke my hand during practice. They actually had me get a cast and clubbed it and still let me play. I actually had a catch with my hand completely taped up. A little over a year ago I was in a car accident and completely tore my achilles and shattered my ankle. I had been playing some organized sports for fun prior but cant anymore. I can completely sympathize with this kind of stuff. My friend who was our middle linebacker tore his acl and made a full recovery and played in college so hopefully with time youll be back to 100%. Im still dumbfounded how athletes can tear their achilles and play sports like football anymore. There is no way I would be able to. Simple: passion. I could have easily quit basketball, soccer, and baseball because of injury, but there is no chance in hell that I would ever quit. And knowing Greg, he wouldn't quit soccer either.

QUOTE(Felix @ Sep 13, 2006 -> 09:37 PM) Any suggestions on a sound card? I'd prefer not to spend a ridiculous amount of money, but preferably within the price range I mentioned before (with the speakers added in). Well, the kind you get depends on your motherboard. I use an old Mad Dog Predator 5.1 sound card because my computer is a few years old. A standard 6 channel Turtle Beach Riviera sound card will be plenty. It's $30 at Circuit City but you can find either on Amazon for under $25.

QUOTE(Texsox @ Sep 13, 2006 -> 05:47 PM) Felix, I'd look at these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16836121118 ^^^^^^^^^^^ x infinity I got these speakers for Christmas fo $80, and I'd pay $200 for them. They offer great sound for a great price, but make sure you upgrade your sound card to give you full speaker power. With a standard sound card, only the subwoofer and the front left/right speakers will work. This is the same for all 5.1 and up systems. Just something you need to consider.
  19. Damn Greg, sorry to hear that. I can feel your pain. 3 dislocated knees and hyperextended tendons on my side. Sucks that your season is over to, I know how competetive of a guy you are. Don't rush your comeback. It won't help you no matter what you think. Let it heal completely and get back to 100% before you start rehab. I hope you don't have long-term knee troubled like I have/will. Get back soon buddy.
  20. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Sep 11, 2006 -> 08:22 PM) For the first fifty minutes of today's game, I was the worst goalkeeper in the world. After ninety, I'd driven our team to victory, even if it was an ugly win. The game started with an injury and then continued with a screwed up play. About two minutes into the game, I twisted my ankle and it hurt, so I couldn't quite field properly. Next, we had a major proble. My main defender had a ball deflect off his foot, and I went to get it, but I didn't pick it up with my hands, as there's a rule in soccer that the keeper can't grab the ball with his hands if it's passed to him. I didn't want to risk giving up a penalty kick, so I kicked the ball away. It went to one of my defenders, who was immediately stripped, and they took a quick shot which went in since I was out of position. 1-0. A couple of minutes later, I punted a ball beautifully and it ended up about ten yards from the Keeper. We scored, and tied it up. After that, however, things got bad. On a breakaway through the center, my defender was following, and stopped the other guy. But when he stopped him, he stopped himself, too, and stood there staring at the ball, giving the other guy a point blank shot that I just missed on a dive to my right. Later on, nearing the end of the first half, some kid took a shot from the rightside of the field, and I miscalculated it, diving futiley to "stop it" and missing. When we got back on the field after halftime I did something I'd been critical of my backup keeper for not doing. I talked to all the players and motivated them, which my backup never did (because he's just a Sophomore, probably, and feels intimidated by the elders). We started it off poorly, however, as someone took a shot at me from the right side, I blocked it with my left, but it was rolling back real slowly. My defender came into it to try and stop it with a kick but he missed the kick and it went in for a goal. After this, I started to pound the message across to my team and pump them up: "Win or die trying; the game's not over!" and "Just when you think it's all over, it's not over!" It wasn't. We scored seven goals and won 8-4. I made six diving stops, and had deflected a couple against the goalposts, too. A scary moment came, however, after they took a Corner Kick and I dove backward to catch it, which I did. But upon landing, I hit my back on a rock and couldn't breath. Regardless, I got up and deflected a shot to the left, and it just missed the goal. A minute later, however, one of their players ran into my back at full speed (accidentally) and it hurt, but I was all right, and didn't fall over. All in all, a good game, but I wish I hadn't started it so poorly. In the end, it's the Win that matters, and we shut them down. Take that, Brooks. You're a f***ing liar. LMAO, we started losing after the coach took out our main striker (you know, the one who scored a hat trick on you) and then after you scored the 1st goal, our midfield quit. They got cocky at half time, and the final score was 7-4, even though we were winning 4-0 at halftime. Anyways, I talked to the coach today and I heard you were looking for me. I couldn't make it because my ride came early + I didn't want to get my new shoes dirty + I didn't have a coat. I was just pissed because I should have been between the posts for my team. I also heard that like all of your goals were on deflections.
  21. Happy birthday to the both of you...
  22. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Sep 10, 2006 -> 11:03 PM) Fine, but here's my next stipulation in response, Boras: you make it, you have to make it up to your standards, meaning it can't be half-assed. We've all seen your work, after all. If I make it, it'll be in Paint, and it won't be pretty. You have to make yours, on the other hand, up to your standards. And if I win, mine (that you'll wear) is going to read, of course, "Greg Pratt > SlavOnKnobsYo!" You can call me by a clever pun, too, in yours, if you win. Deal.
