Shawon-o-meter
QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Aug 1, 2006 -> 07:00 PM) Too Cub fan-esque. Leave the o-meter signs and the throwing of opposition homers, occassional foulballs, and garbage on the field to the morons in the dump on the northside. and the wave.

The begining of the end of the soo called...
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Aug 1, 2006 -> 06:55 PM) At this point last year, I was still saying the Red Sox were the team to beat in the AL. I said that until they were beaten. The team having the best record is not "The team to beat", the defending champs are. It's not that they have the best record, it's that they're the best team, playing the best baseball, in the best division.

Twins finally came to their senses
QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Jul 31, 2006 -> 12:51 PM) Are you kidding? Lohse had some very good starts against the Sox in his career. No matter how bad he was doing, he always stepped it up against he Sox In the last 2-2 1/2 years, Lohse hasn't stepped up against anyone. Until 2005, the Sox couldn't hit Radke, Mays, or Lohse...now we can't hit Santana or Liriano. Oh well.
