  1. QUOTE(GoSox05 @ Nov 17, 2006 -> 10:31 AM) Way to be optimistic. Sox will probably only win 21 games this year. Who wins more games: 2006-07 Chicago Bulls or 2007 Chicago White Sox?
  2. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Nov 17, 2006 -> 12:12 AM) Between 6 and 10 pheasants. Awesome fun. Did you guys have dogs too?
  3. Heads, how did that trip to Dakota go? I leave on Wednesday to hunt the Upper Peninsula. People I've talked to said the deer movement is phenomenal. Can't wait.
  4. I haven't had a Thanksgiving meal in 8 years.
  5. I know this has probably been mentioned, but the last time the Cubs and Sox made a deal, we came away with some guy named Garland. I think he turned out OK.
  6. 9/10. The wisk one got me.
  7. When you think about it, teams never throw at Vasher. The only reason he has/makes/misses a lot of tackles is because they usually only throw to his WR on screens or short passes. Vasher has improved as a 1 on 1 corner and with his ball-hawk skills, he'll be one of the best corner's in the game for a while. As far as Tillman, hes best against bigger, more physical receivers. People hate him because Steve Smith burned him big time. That's not his fault, everyone know's Vasher should be covering the speedy/deep threat WR and that Peanut should cover the physical/possession WR.
  8. I planned on getting my sister a new computer but my dad took care of that one. I usually wait until after Thanksgiving when I get back from the annual hunting trip to start thinking about gifts.
  9. I happen to like Dane Cook. A lot of what makes him funny are his extreme scenarios. If you haven't listened to Retaliation, I suggest you do so. It's pretty good. Someone sh** on the coats! is good as is the part about the tickling grandmother. As far as older stuff, the Burger King skit is one of my favorite comedic pieces of all-time.
  10. Well, Jones and Hester were both Ballin' tonight.
  11. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Nov 7, 2006 -> 09:43 PM) We're GOING TO OHIO, AND WESST VIRGINIA, TOM HARKIN! WERE GOING TO SOUTH CAROLINA AND TEXAS AND SO FORTH ALL THE WAY TO THE WHITE HOUSE BYAHHHHHH Shameful. You know something, we're not just gonna go to New Hampshire...Tom Harkin. We are gonna go to New York! We're gonna go to Vermont! We're gonna go to Oregon! We're gonna go to Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania! We're going to Cancun for Spring Break! We're gonna go to Montreal! We're going to Vancouver! I'm going all over the world! And then I'm coming all the way to Washington DC, to take back the White House.......BYAAAAAAAAAH!
  12. My contribution the the Filibuster: Blagojevic won.
  13. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Sep 29, 2006 -> 01:04 PM) And thanks to you and Slav for doing the legwork on building the site. You guys did an awesome job, and the site wouldn't be there without you. I owe both of you tons. I'm glad I could be of some help. Good luck with the election. Hopefully the 2nd half of the precincts give you some support.
  14. QUOTE(farmteam @ Nov 6, 2006 -> 09:44 PM) Dumb question, as my knowledge of California geography isn't very good -- if that's the point, why don't they just move to San Jose then? Compared to Oakland, San Jose is quite a bit further than Fremont. Another question, do they become known as the Fremont Athletics of Oakland?
  15. QUOTE(knightni @ Nov 3, 2006 -> 11:01 PM) Nov 3. Nostodamus v2?
  16. QUOTE(hi8is @ Nov 2, 2006 -> 07:55 PM) someone refresh my memory... when do the winter meetings begin? November 12th
  17. QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Nov 3, 2006 -> 01:17 PM) Carlos Lee had zero errors back in 2004. Where was his GG? Should Juan Pierre win a GG this year as well? ^^^
  18. I hope the Colts/Broncos game is a VERY high-scoring game.
  19. 4GB iPod Nano Good battery life and great sound. And for $250, I should have gotten the 30 GB iPod for $50 more.
  20. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Oct 28, 2006 -> 02:44 PM) Rowand was dealt the week of Thanksgiving last year, KW likes to get these things started early. I'll never forget the phonecall that I got when I heard the news. Driving to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in 20 feet of visibility and roads paved in ice. At that moment, I really missed Aaron Rowand. I still really miss Arow, but Thome alleviated some of the pain. My prediction for Move #1: November 22nd
  21. Good times. I feel proud to have experienced the 2005 season and hopefully 2007 brings more of the same.
