QUOTE(Nokona @ May 7, 2006 -> 09:35 PM) Hawk threw me for a fast one today. Saying "Can of Chef Boyardee." The chat had a ball with that one.

QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ May 7, 2006 -> 08:20 PM) Is Cuck the Fubs your grandpa? No, no he is not. And now that I see it, that's really wierd that they said the same thing lol.

Crede Bottom of 4th
Haha, my grandpa told me that he saw it bounce off the railing over the fence, then come back in play and bounce off the warning track, and then bounce back into the stands. LMAO.

Criss Angel....
QUOTE(CrimsonWeltall @ May 7, 2006 -> 04:26 PM) In the first Blaine video, the camera never shows the area in front of him (thanks editing) and his "legs" look awkward and stiff like Angel's do in his video. In the second video, he's lifting off with the front of his right foot (also conveniently hidden due to the camera view). The toe trick was shown by (I think) Penn and Teller when they did the show revealing a lot of secrets. Yeah, I saw that as well. They are basically just on their tippy-toes but the angles are used to their advantage.

ACT Jitters
QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ May 7, 2006 -> 07:20 PM) I took the SATs yesterday, don't really know what to think. With some luck, I might have broken 2000, but I won't know til the 31st. I'm not even going to bother with the SAT's. The only school I considered on the East Coast was Rutgers.

QUOTE(Kalapse @ May 7, 2006 -> 03:58 PM) I just watched the inning again via Tivo he didn't throw a single change, nothing but fastballs and curves. The gun had been off all day, unless you believe that Buehrle was throwing 75 MPH fastballs at times and 93 others. Also Andy Sisco threw one 111 MPH, which is pretty neato. Watch it again. The 88 mph pitch he threw was a change up. His curveball has trajectory to it. The change came out straight and just fell off the table.

Royals @ Sox
It was clocked at 88 and was clearly different than his curve. His curveballs were 81, 82, 83. His fastballs were in the mid 90's. The change came out straight and just dropped at the last second. He threw it to German.

QUOTE(YASNY @ May 7, 2006 -> 02:56 PM) All that is true. But still, if he would have turned and sprinted back toward 3rd, that would have forced a throw instead of just a tag. Throwing errors do happen from time to time. You can't count on throwing errors to happen.

QUOTE(YASNY @ May 7, 2006 -> 02:52 PM) No. He has a point. If Ozuna would have turned and sprinted back toward 3rd, the pitcher might have thrown the ball down the line. You have to make them make the play without just giving up on it. It all starts with the bunt.
