  1. QUOTE(Soxfest @ Oct 7, 2005 -> 09:32 PM) He can go back to football now and kiss redsox ass :finger CB That also pissed me off. The countless football and hockey references. ITS A f***ING BASEBALL GAME!
  2. QUOTE(iguchi=dank @ Oct 7, 2005 -> 09:28 PM) listen I can't quote word for word to you why berman was so bad, but MY LORD, can you give us ANY enthusiasm when we did big cool things. Only thing I'm gonna say, during the Konerko homerun, there was no back back back, just basically silence, DON"T RAIN ON MY PARADE WHEN YOUR A NATIONAL BROADCASTER FATTY The only enthusiastic call he gave the Sox all series were AJ's 1st HR in Game 1 and Pods HR in Game 1.
  3. QUOTE(chitownsportsfan @ Oct 7, 2005 -> 07:55 PM) I only have one thing to say about this: Ozzie is the only manager that could have simultaneosuly had his best decision, and worst decision, in the same half inning. Hell fricking yes! Marte = Gone, McCarthy = Here.
  4. I voted for El Duque for the simple fact that if we lose the lead and proceed to lose this game, our momentum is completely gone and the Red Sox have a chance of winning. Abso-f***ing-lutely awesome. White Sox in the ALCS + McCarthy and - Marte.
  5. I remember when in 1 of my high school games last season that my coach brought me in with the bases loaded and 0 outs and I proceeded to strike out the side and pitch 4 shut out innings vs Morgan Park....yeah, El Duque's feat is 100000000000000 times greater. Props to the DUKE!
  6. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Oct 7, 2005 -> 09:15 PM) Agreed. The announcing for this entire series was a joke. I love that our boys stuck it right up the media's ass, Berman included. All I learned was that Berman is a Red Sawx fan and Mike Piazza likes to describe everything that happens in baseball as "firm." Piazza is clueless but at least he wasn't biased like fatass. Sutcliffe just switched sides and hyped up whatever team had the lead. My God, where is Steve Stone? Speaking of Piazza and "firm" does anyone recall when he said "The Kielbasa Connection" in game 1 when comparing AJ and Kluszewski (sp)? Uuuum, yeeaaah.
  7. He pissed me off so f***ing bad. He was literally rooting for the Red Sox. He was plotting out ways to get Manny and Papi up with runners on and how the Red Sox still had so much hope and etc. f*** you Berman!
  8. HELL MOTHERf***ING YES! IT FEELS SO GOOD TO BE BAAAAAAAAAAACK! DO IT! BRING ON THE YANKS! BRING ON THE ANGLES! DO IT! RIP EM! PROPS TO EL DUQUE FOR BEING A f***ING BEAST! JENKS TOO! PK! EVERYONE! YEEEEEEEEEES!

QUOTE(TaylorStSox @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 11:35 PM) That's what YOU, as a White Sox fan, will always do. You are not a true Sox fan! You must always yell "STRETCH!" on fly-balls and follow K's with "HE GAWN!" and HR's with "YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOARD...YES!" Oh, and whenever there is a ball hit into the LCF and RCF gaps, you MUST scream "AARON....AARON...AARON....YES!"
  12. Exactly 24 minutes into the movie. I just watched it and had to post right away. HILARIOUS!
  13. QUOTE(DePloderer @ Oct 2, 2005 -> 02:32 PM) Edit: I've noticed that some of the text on the hosted image looks crap, it is crisp and clear on downloaded background. Pods Rowand Buehrle Everett Konerko I'm working on others, but struggling for the right discriptive wording for them. If you like the design and want one of another player, come up with a discription and let me know below. Ahem.... Bobby JENKS Rookie power-pitcher phenom of the 2005 AL Central Champion Chicago White Sox....
  14. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 07:07 PM) Its a rally whore, much better than the rally crede. Whatever wroks dude. It surely floats my boat.
  15. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 07:09 PM) While I do not expect to be attending any games, I believe Al Capone was a White Sox fan. Yessir.
  16. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 06:42 PM) THE RED CUBS ARE GOING TO WIN IT ALL, WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY WERE SWEPT, DAMN IT TO HELL I find myself addicted to your avatar.
  17. So 27% of the area still has hope in their team? I dont get the point lol.
  18. QUOTE(CanOfCorn @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 06:17 PM) Just cuz they wear the hat doesn't make them Sox fans. YES IT DOES, OK!
  19. I want Berman/Sutcliffe/Piazza for the rest of the series. Susperstition.

  21. I damn near punchged my dad in excitement. Jumped up off the couch, started screaming, etc. Awesome, Awesome moment. Thanks Tony G.
  22. Avbsolutely awesome on all accounts. Thanks to all the makers of all clips and slideshows. Amazing. GO SOX!!!!!!!!!
  23. QUOTE(Steff @ Sep 28, 2005 -> 08:27 PM) You don't...? And what position is it that you play and for what MLB team...??? That's what I thought, kid. Well I'm sorry grandma but I don't see you throwing any leather out there on the field either.
  24. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Sep 28, 2005 -> 08:24 PM) Don't tell the Sox how they can and can't celebrate. Don't tell me how I can and can't celebrate. If the Sox clinch the wild card I'll sit back, grab a beer, maybe smoke a cigar and relax the rest of the regular season. If they win the division great, if not, who cares, the focus will be on the playoffs. Ask the Angels...they aren't worried about home field advantage..Scioscia wants to get the team ready for the post-season and if they get homefield eventually than so be it. That is the wrong approach in my opinion. You don't want to back into the playoffs knowing you just blew off the last few days of the season. It just seems childish to me. And I never told you how to celebrate or whatever. Yes, if this course of events is to happen, I'll be happy, but it is not grounds for celebration to me.
  25. QUOTE(Steff @ Sep 28, 2005 -> 08:22 PM) Dead. Wow. At least add some knowledge to the thread maybe. You dont celebrate WC clinches when your still 1st in the division. As since when does a 16 year old have to be childish? As of this current moment, your the childish one for calling me out. Mind your business, that's what I am saying.
