  1. Thats true but Frank has never used roids or anything else. I believe that 2003, Frank will hit .310, 30 HR's, 110 RBI's, and around 100-110 BB's.
  2. If he keeps it up, there will be no adversity, he will become a star. Sox Fans, I have a call to action. Vote him onto the AL All Star Team! I know this may be a stretch but he deserves it. (from what I have seen so far)
  3. Remember when they gave out the Cereal boxes with Siro's picture on it and it said "Mikey Like It!"
  4. I think Prior is a good pitcher but he gets caught up in himself! Prior to himself: "Man, Im gonna win the Cy Young this year. Im gonna strike out 400 guys! Im the greatest in the world. Im Pedro, Randy, Curt, and Barry all in 1! Zito and Bonds! HAHA!" Self to Prior: "SHUT THE HELL UP, YOU SUCK!"
  5. I hope it wasnt a fall caused by alcohol. The media would kill him! Literally!
  6. I hope they give him a warm welcome.
  7. I am the biggest D'Amgelo fan out there. I remember watching him while he was in SD. He makes everything look effortless. That was a great trade by KW. I am now the official D'Angelo Fan Club leader!
  8. How can the Sox be the bad guys. You dont see jus parading around talking s*** about KC because they finaly lost a game. All those KC, Minnesota, Cleveland, and Detroit fans can kiss my ass!
  9. As much as I love Aarn, right now, he couldn't hit a cow if it was pitched! I love his work ethic and he is WAY better than Rios on defense but Rios has a hot bat. Id give Rios a couple starts against KC and hope Aaron can get out of his Funk. In the defensive side, Rios is not a Cf, he is a RF, and he hasvery little range, So Aaron better get it together soon. I foresee many gappers against KC if Rios is in center!
  10. You have got to be kidding me. The fact of the matter is that D'Angelo is better than Aaron. DJ has been lights out since joining the Sox. Miles would stink up the joint anyway. I give Aaron props but he has to improve in some places.
  11. Wow, Get Well Soon Bobby! I wifh him the best of luck!
  12. I dont want Aaron to go but it seems like everyone else does. I love Aaron. He works hard and is a GREAT fielder. I say keep him but he just has to become a more pure hitter.
  13. This is exactly right. If we want to win games, we will have to play small ball. We have to put pressure on the opposition. Especially with DJ and E6 in the beginning of te lineup. If they can get on base, we could use hit and runs and stealing bases as getting the pitcher worried and focusing on the runner not the batter. This will give the batter better pitches to hit and more mistakes by the pitcher. The Angels did it last year and they won the WS. We need to do it 2.
  14. Bottom line Maggs is good, Lee is not, and we need a new CF.
  15. Its 1-0 Sox going into the bottom of the 4th right?
  16. Is anyone doing play by play on the board. I cant. I have no access to the game but this thread!
  17. Yeah, but were still hovering over .500! We have to make a surge starting today. I smell Colons 1st win with the Sox today!
  18. Yesterday was the 2nd time weve seen Cornejo but that didn't help! Oh well, gametime is in less than 10 minutes.
  19. On his 2000th post. Good Job!
  20. Everyone with the exception of Jon Garland and Tom Gordon has pitched at least decent. Whats up with that? Those were 2 guys I was expecting to start strong. I am proud. The pitching has been phenemenol!
  21. I agree 100%. The defense has to sure up! I trust my Sox and I KNOW they will turn it around!
  22. Good Morning Folks! Todays starters are: White Sox are sending Bartolo Colon out to the mound. (0.0, 3.75 ERA) Tigers are sending Gary Knotts to the mound. (0.0, 1.69 ERA) Colon is 7-3 with a 4.12 ERA versus the Tigers and Knotts is 0-0 with a 1.69 ERA versus the Sox, making his only appearance aginst us in the U.S. Cellular Field series. It will be telecast on FSN Chicago and ESPN Radio 100 Chicago. It will also be telecast on FSN in Detroit. If you are listening to it on the radio it will be on WXYT-AM 1270 in Mo-Town. Weather forecast: Look for sunny skies and a high of 53. The White Sox have won eight of the last nine games against the Tigers and five of six at Comerica Park. Frank Thomas has reached base in all 11 games. Magglio Ordonez has hit in nine straight games. Detroit!
