The Walker apologists would have you think otherwise, however. Apparently the Sox will eventually become the first team to not have a hitting coach, since they obviously have no use for one.

This team is learning disabled at hitting. Has potential, can't achieve. Every pitcher with a changeup gives them fits, it is mindboggling. Here comes another 15 K night, at least.

To see Juan Uribe for yet another year would make me just sick. And likely trigger the alcoholism gene in me, if it hasn't already.

So, in closing, congrats Cubs fans. I'm happy that the underachieving '07 White Sox could shine a ray on sunlight on your otherwise miserable team's very existence. I don't think you'll see Buehrle go anywhere until much closer to the deadline. It's still over a month away, and everyone will have their chance to go back and forth about who they'll give up. If he's dealt tonight/tomorrow/next week, we'll all be complaining that KW should've held out to see what else he could've had. Others will certainly go in the meantime, but Mark will be the big move that goes down to the wire, and may or may not even be made.
