I think we need to get rid of Jiminez, Jose, CLee, and Konerko anyways possible, especially Konerko with his bad hip. I think it would be an excellent move to sign Luis Castillo as 2B. he would give us an excellent leadoff guy, or if harris keeps hitting a #2 guy to get on base for Maggs and Thomas at 1b. Thomas has to stay at first base the rest of his career.

yes, and the thing is, i am currently platooning chipper and palmiero at utility because that is how good my offense is. I am looking at chipper career stats, and he has been going down the last two years I also need saves. Another thing to consider is this guy is my main competition in this league. He is in first and i am in second

Man did anyone else watch his interview on outside the lines tonight? That man has some issues. He started making fun of the interview guy ( forgot his name ) because he wasnt an athlete, he said he was the best athlete in the world at one point. He also went off on this huge tangent about how badly minorities get treated in baseball. He said if it was mcgwire or ripken who had this happen and not sosa, that it would get covered up. How the f*** would it get covered up? Then he was promoting his book a little bit too.

as far as ive seen with him, his success depends on him getting ahead in the count, his location, and pitching efficiently. When hes not down in the damn count the whole night, and when he can keep his pitch counts down hes pretty damn good, but he just hasnt been doing that lately. Its not matter of his stuff going good, but his head going good. You could say that for alot of pitchers, and it applies to him. Id say give him the rest of this year, and part of next year to work on it, If he doesnt get traded in the biggest white flag trade/management clearing house to ever happen in baseball, that is going to happen sometime shortly after the all-start break
