are you all serious? i used to live in detroit, and still have many friends there. the city should be a-bombed and rebuilt. it's terrible. its my least favorite downtown of all downtowns. im not slamming the stadium. just cause i put it on the list doesnt mean i hate it. its just an option for someone to choose. also im talking about downtown in general, not the immediate area around comerica. that specific area is notorius for crime, however, i know that for a fact. just my personal experience. sorry if i offended anyone.

since ive never been there, i am asking: what is it about HHH Dome that is bad? ive only heard it's crappy, never why. id assume because of the studpid wall in the outfield, the echoes, the artificialness of it.

that article is garbage. i personally dont believe that putting crazy support beams in the outfield or hills (the hill is the dumbest of all ideas) makes a ballpark good. each park has it's own thing, whether it be a train with oranges in the trailor or a pool past the left center wall or an explodint scoreboard. i think that some of the parks can get pretty shameless and cartoony (for lack of a better word) in their "innovations." whatever happened to class? i think us cellular, dodger stadium, and miller park in milwaukee have the most class without being shameless. but that's me.

if you are a true cheapass, you will buy hanes undershirts and use a sharpie to make your own shirts.

when i was a kid i was at a game in the sarasota stadium. ozzie was playing short at the time and pulled a "graffinino" on a ground ball. when the inning ended, some old man in the front row behind the sox's dugout stood up and called ozzie a "bum". ozzie climbed on the top of the dugout and started ranting and raving in true ozzie style for about 10 minutes until some guys pulled him off the top of the dugout. classic memory. yes, the stadium is a dump.
