  1. That's not physically possible, lol. (I know it's a joke, just being a smartass)
  2. That's exactly what they want. They(MLB) think the game is losing popularity because it's not played like it was from 1950 through 1990. They want more balls in play, fewer HRs, more CG from pitchers, fewer ks overall.
  3. Hopefully Hahn and KW get fired finally, and TLR quits. Every year there's a team or two that were supposed to be good that suck. It looks like this year it's the Sox.
  4. Isn't Vladito playing 1B?
  5. No, they'll have to adapt by hitting more line drives vs uppercut swings.
  6. That's my opinion based on what baseball writers/pundits are saying on sportsblab.
  7. Whatever they were doing in 2017-18 was right. 2019 was too much, what they've done this year sucks.
  8. HRs don't count in the calculation of BABIP so they're not balls in play. balls in play result in outs, errors, singles, doubles, or triples.
  9. They want more balls in play and for the running game to come back. HRs aren't balls in play. Fewer HRs and Ks, more balls in play and SB is the goal of MLB.
  10. I believe this is what MLB wants. They want it to be this difficult to hit HRs, and for hitters to adapt accordingly, or get left behind.
  11. I just looked at other pitchers and only one is down across the board and as much as the Sox pitchers are. The only other staff that is having similar issues is Philly. Giolito is down 1 full mph, Cease 0.6 mph, Kopech 1.8 mph. Wheeler is down 2.0(injured) and Nola is down 0.7
  12. I don't watch all of those teams, but I could do it, yeah. I was just watching a bit of the Phillies-Rockies game and Wheeler was down a bit.
  13. No, but it's cold in a lot of places like Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Boston just to name a few.
