I think that they should get Grandal as well. He and McCann can rotate in as C/DH and Collins can catch or rare occasion while being 1B/DH most of the time. They could even bring back Abreu on a 1 year deal as 1B-DH, given that Collins probably shouldn't start vs. LHP.

Not really. I hope they go in stealth mode this offseason. No leaks. Despite the appearance of nothing happening, I'd feel better about their chances of landing a FA. To do otherwise would be failure to learn from el fiasco Machado. I want them to be the mystery team this winter.

It's really easy to see why Cordero doesn't stick in the majors. He has no idea where anything is going. It's also really easy to see why he keeps getting chances.

I really hope Hahn and Kenny have the cojones to fire the entire coaching staff after game 162. They really need new voices. Cooper just seems like he's cashing checks at this point.

You could be right. He said this spring that his new delivery uses his legs more so of they're tiring on him that would explain a lot about the missing location/inconsistent velo.

Yeah. Ricky's not a 100% moron, only 90%. He does have his moments of brilliance, though few and far between.

This outing doesn't inspire a ton of confidence in Giolito's remainder of the season. Despite his hot first half he's still a work in progress. He's definitely an MLB pitcher now though. I still think he has another streak like the 1st half in him again, but he's completely different than he was in the 1st half.

I would have rather he said stuff only pertaining to the current season and say nothing about offseason targets until they make a damn FA signing. We all don't want him to come to the WM laying his junque on the table only to be left holding mr johnson again in February. His comments tell me they've learned nothing from last winter. Just keep your plans in-house until you actually execute them.

The level of target is up to interpretation. Big fish are logical based on his comments. Which is why he should STFU.
