Yeah I think you misunderstood. I think he's going to put up 6 wins this year and then explode in 2020. He's already a plus defender at 3B, he's exceeding everyone's wildest dreams based on 2017-18. So many people nationally wrote him off and they are missing the birth of a superstar.

I have watched all 3 of the Sox "Big 3" pitchers (Kopech, Cease, Giolito) and from a pure quality of arsenal standpoint (just pure stuff, not including command) Cease has the best arsenal. I can honestly say he has 4 plus pitches. Giolito has 3 and Kopech has 2.

No, I would be happy with that too, but.....I think with the amount of hype the rebuilds on both sides of town have had, anything less than 2 WS titles is a disappointment. The biggest thing to make that happen is that the Sox have to have better self-scouting than the Cubs did. The Cubs traded the wrong guys. The Sox have to trade the right ones.

The Cubs have this reputation of being awesome at drafting and developing. Why???? 1st rounders since Theo took over: 2012- Almora(5) 2013- Bryant(2) 2014-Schwarber(4) 2015 Happ(9) 2016 None where are all of these awesome players? Sure, all of them made the Majors, but it isn't like they did much when they got there. Happ and Almora suck, and Schwarber is a DH playing LF(and a shitty one at that) If you think of that team's core only 3 of their huge prospects are major contributors and Theo didn't even draft Baez. Rizzo was a gift from Hoyer before he quit San Diego. I call shenanigans there. They also did a horrid job of self scouting and traded away their studs in Torres, Jimenez and Cease while keeping bums like Schwarber, Almora, Russell and Happ.

There isn't going to be an easy PA for our opponents. It will be fun. We can only hope that this works better than it has on the other side of town.

They don't need to dump Castillo per se, they need to keep him around so they have a backup catcher on days that Collins DHs. It actually makes sense what is happening. They've seen enough of Zavala to realize he's an AAAA guy, Castillo is hurt so they bring up Collins for backup. He's going to play, but sparingly, until Castillo returns. There is no reason to risk losing your DH in the event of injury to either McCann or Collins. One of them has to be on the bench. McCann just made the freaking ASG, so obviously Collins is going to sit. It isn't rocket surgery.(joke intended) They lost their DH 3 games in a row vs. Texas and Boston and they're not going to let it happen again.
