QUOTE (iamshack @ Jan 4, 2014 -> 01:11 AM) Does anyone else think that last Clemson int was not a catch? I didn't think he ever really controlled it. I don't think he caught it. The espn ref expert was off his rocker a few times tonight.

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Jan 3, 2014 -> 06:45 PM) Isn't that kind of a slap in the face to Miami to lose a coach to Penn State? Hasnt left yet. And I dont see how this would be a slap in the face to Miami. Everyone knows that Penn St is Golden's dream job. Maybe he takes it, maybe he wont but Miami fans wont be shocked at all.

QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Jan 2, 2014 -> 07:00 PM) The corporation's owner supported Kluwe. It seems like it was a POS in middle management (special teams coach) that ultimately got him fired. well who does he blame for being released in Oakland? Kluwe was scheduled to make $1.45M in 2013 and Minnesota found a rookie to do the job just as well while making $400k.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 1, 2014 -> 11:07 PM) Nice win by sparty. Their defense is legit and they didn't even have their best player. Jesse Palmer "they didn't play Stanford football" I'd rather hear him say that than "its 3rd and California.."

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jan 1, 2014 -> 10:50 PM) Hiring Ted Ford is a great m9ve. Frazier would be solid too. I figure marinelli will rejoin him. Marinelli is now being reported by ESPN. As soon as Schiano was fired, anyone who was associated with Dungy was rumored to be coming.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 1, 2014 -> 09:41 PM) Are they gonna give up on him that quick? He didn't seem awful. he wasnt awful but wasnt good either. He was captain checkdown for the most part. there's a huge gap between him and the other 3 QBs in the NFC South. If the Bucs ever have hopes of being a consistent playoff contender, that gap needs to be smaller.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 1, 2014 -> 09:23 PM) Lovie to the Buccs. There goes Mike Glennon's career, but the defense should be very, very tough. If Lovie had any offensive imagination, he would still be in Chicago. Good coach. His starting days are done but I'll be more than happy with him as a backup.

should be fun to see what he can turn that defense into. A good mix of young talent to build with. offense on the other hand...

Is this real? Aaron Rodgers is coming out or being outed?
In today's world with social media, I doubt such a high profile athlete could keep something like this under wraps for this long. then again, didn't he use to complain about not bring able to go out in public without it being plastered all over twitter and Facebook?

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 29, 2013 -> 04:11 PM) I just read her wiki, her positive test coincided with her contract expiring with Strikeforce. I have to think that played a part in her not being in the UFC right now. Dana White usually puts his big fighters head to head, I don't really see him protecting Rousey Dana White has no one who can headline a PPV. He is so desperate that Rousey is headlining 170 vs some girl named McMann. Rousey and all WMMA is just a gimmick novelty item. He'll just keep catering to the morons who watch TUF every week. If GSP really does sit out for the entire 2014 year, then Dana White better open the checkbook and pay Lesnar. Or maybe the $65 PPVs will become the norm so he can bleed out an extra $5 to offset the people not buying events anymore.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Dec 29, 2013 -> 08:19 PM) I'm making sure I remember that a QB rating in the 80's is good to you. Apparently it's good to a lot of people since Cutler's career QB rating is 84.4.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 29, 2013 -> 10:58 AM) She is really good at it, until the UFC finds a chick with her size and ability she will keep breaking arms WMMA is a joke. If the UFC doesnt sign Cyborg to fight Rousey then its obvious she is a gimmick machine and they're protecting her.

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Dec 27, 2013 -> 12:28 PM) That's pretty surprising. I realize there wasn't much else on in the way of sports last night, but that was a nothing match-up and I had zero interest in it, where as I'd watch the BE final. but for the most part, no one cares about college basketball until Feb/March.
