Actually yes. He went 12-2 in 1994 but 8-15 with a 7.70 ERAin 1995 due to a busted elbow, came back in 1997 after surgery but couldn't throw strikes and the Sox released him and Cincinatti signed him and then was picked up by the Brewers that same year or next. (I'm saying all this of off my head)

Are you making fun of me? Flop thrower is a guy who doesn't really look like he has any power in his motion, I've heard it on BBT. They used to called Pete Schourek a flop thrower untill he got to the reds and his motion was altered a lil and he had a good season and was getting a lil more bite on his pitches....
