I don't know how many more times I can hear Hawk say we are the best team in baseball. No, we're not, Detroit is right now. I almost wish we had Steve Stone in the broadcast booth, at least he is not afraid to tell it like it is.

I would trade him in a heartbeat if we got decent value for him.

I would say that I am mildly concerned at this point regarding our pitching staff. I just don't know how many more game-winning homeruns our offense can put up. "Holding the middle ground btween 100% optimistic and 100% pessimistic"

I don't think VAfan is saying the sky is falling by any means. The truth is, our pitching has been really bad lately. The Tigers don't seem to be going anywhere, luckily they can't really seem to beat us. Just because this team won the World Series doesn't mean teams are going to run away from us. Right now, our offense is taking the focus off of our struggling pitching. Hopefully they can hold this up until the pitching gets on track. "To be blindly optimistic is not to be a Sox fan"

How are the Tigers and the White Sox the best two teams in the American League, yet experts only say Dye should make the starting team. Ozzie should just play the best players at each position between only the Sox and Tigers. With both ours and their record against the NL, this shouldn't be a contest.

The biggest problem I have with this, is his rational. In most of the cases he is trying to make he brings up a player's career numbers. What does that matter? This is the 2006 all-star game, all-stars should be selected based on their 2006 stats. Also, they should disallow the fans from voting for this, I hope Ozzie pulls all of the Red Sox and Yankee players after the first inning.
