  1. Jim, because I care. My point is that people use that term as if it was straight from the Constitution, and it's clearly not. I find things like removing the 10 commandments from Court houses as ludicris.... and I ain't talkin' 'bout dis foo----> first of all, all of our major laws are based on the principles found in the 10 commandments, and secondly, most of them aren't enforced by our pathetic justice system. So just leave them alone, unless you REALLY need to make room for that Coke Machine
  2. Don't fool yourself DBAH0, it's all Muslim Extremism.
  3. yeah, ask Indonesia, The Phillipines, and Spain about that... oh wait, there's also India, Pakistan, Saudia Arabia... oh don't forget Russia...and then there was The shoe bomber, and then that guy who tried to blow up the Brooklyn Bridge. I gotta hand it to the guy though, that's some pretty creative 527-ing for John Kerry, er, I mean "Middle Eastern Muslim Terrorsts for Truth"
  4. you know, of the 400,000 tons of munitions already destroyed, I don't really blame our US soldiers for not working above the call of duty.... I, for one, being of eligible age for service, am greatful to every veteran and currently service soldier. Here's to you PVC Morton, PVC DeJesus, and PVC Mooney!!! This ain't about Bush... it's about former allies not doing their part to join the US. They're too busy catching Saddam's fastballs up the pipe to do some real good in the world. here's to 25 million people with the chance at freedom!! and here's to the f-ing misanthropes that would rather see Bush fail, democracy fail, and freedom fail, Just at the hope "their" guy would win. :fyou :fyou :fyou :fyou
  5. Hillary's more of a man than Edwards
  6. I have a feeling it's gonna be the exact opposite. Either way, you'll just blame the Republican congress when john kerry is strong armed against any of the bogus promises he made during the year. I wish I were kidding.... by the way, how's the Kool-aid?
  7. can you just stop posting, please?
  8. Ah, thank God we have Rudy G to make the world better in 4 years:)
  9. Why didn't the Russians, Germans, French and who knows who else didn't join this coalition to remove Saddam Hussein despite countless violations of UN resolutions? $ and I'm not being sarcastic. if we had the unadultered support from our "allies" this wouldn't be an issue. now I'm being sarcastic. And to blame any of this on Bush is a pathetic election attempt from a man who's clearly sees his campaign as heading south. not sarcastic, again....
  10. not in the US Constitution.... Jefferson wrote that phrase in a private letter to a Baptist convention in regards to their concern over a single denomination being appointed as the state religion, i.e. the English Anglican Church. so when people use that phrase I like to laugh because it has ZERO constitutional basis. What the Constitution does say is that the Church shouldn't meddle in Government affairs, and the Government shouldn't meddle in Church affairs.... one out of two ain't bad..... :headshake
  11. I concur. I was gone all summer but still retained my mod rights. I think we could have people step up as acting mods while some of us tend to real life issues. It wouldn't hurt the process at all, because we'd still have permanent mods, but they'd have alternates to help them out when need be. I don't know.
  12. you know what I think is quite amusing... John Kerry has had 20 years in Congress to pass legislation and write bills on all the things that are "so dear to his heart", yet he's got nothing. So why on earth do we think 4 years is going to be any different? "because its not Bush" who's the lemming, dude? Your guy is worthless as a legislator and administrator...
  13. ah Jim, I can always count on you to miss the point of the post
  14. so wait... this UN Sanctioned country holding illegal weapons, and yes, these were illegal weapons, but not the magical WMDs that the people who wrote this article will so quickly point out. There's no friggin' making you guys happy at all. Throw anything and everything at the wall and hope something will stick. If your guy wins on tuesday, great, I'll be on board and ready to turn this whole country around... I'm tired of all the s*** that's being said and ripping to shreds our country's awesomeness. mark my words, if our guy wins, that same offer to set down the torches will not be followed. That's the left for you. f***ing misanthropes til the end. Texas it is....where you'll never be accepted.
  15. hang on...I was posting as if this meant a friggin' thing
  16. so begins the decline of the US as we know it. oh well. Off to texas I go
  17. hehe, yes....yes he does.* but not as much as he hates chicken f***ers like yourself....
  18. actually, I think the taking his name in vain probably has to do more with individuals who do things for their own benefit in the name of God. RE:Tammy Faye and Jim Baker, Moonies, Jehovah's Witness, etc. Although, who are we to say God doesn't hate it when we use His name as curse? If human life isn't the end all like some of you suggest, then why would it be difficult to see all sins as equal?
  19. is this the same girl? if so, awesome dude! yeah, I keep joking to Miss PA about one of our friends who just got married and didn't give his wife a ring because they're both against the African diamond trade.... I told her that the blood of the innocent will forever be on her left hand ring finger. Apparently that translated into me having to spend another 1k on the damn thing. *note to self...don't open mouth to wife, gf, fiance, etc...take what sex you can get and then occupy time with sports, soxtalk, and drinking.
  20. yeah, I wasn't suggesting that we necessarily HAD to change anything, i just thought there could be a way to reward individuals for having cool heads and bringing new ideas to the table. Maybe have two permanent mods and then one rotating? I don't know, maybe we shouldn't change a thing.
  21. causing trouble as usual. saving dough for my diamond "speck" I believe steff called it (she's right about something for once kidding) PA is good, school is good. I should graduate in about 3 semesters and hopefully be on my way to grad school somewhere.
