ok, I'm totally with you. clearly we as the church need to reach every corner of this nation. This happens with a coversion through our actions and faith and not through our words. We should love all. But you're missing the rest of it Vince. Jesus states over and over again that the gate to heaven is narrow, and even some who spoke words of the truth and did good deeds will not enter heaven because of their unbelieving. It's that simple. Christ is the only way to heaven, if not, then his message and actions through the cross are emptied. and steff and I just agreed on like two things in the same day... THE END IS NYE!!!

He probably struggled with the fact that he went from Hero (as a pharisee) to Zero and didn't receive the huge accolades as he did when he was killing Christians versus coverting them.

Apu, I totally recognize your information on abstinence-only education, and I can say that I've heard/read that before, so it doesn't surprise me. However, looking at this post I can only ask, have you ever been to Texas? I'm from up north and most of my friends (I'm 24 this month) are just now figuring out marriage, etc, where as, my friends down here are already engaged, newlyweds, or have been married for 2-3 years. People just start earlier down south. I don't think there's the same stigma about finishing school, etc. (probably because school isn't something alot of these kids' parents ever did.) So I'm talking like juniors in college being married, and I know another couple married at 18. With that being said, the Father's of this nation and the mother's of this nation have failed each generation of offspring. Responsibility needs to be taught, Respect needs to be exceeded, and women need to be honored as the baby factories and cleaning machines they are kidding.

the clear cut answer is we're better than this...we shouldn't be acting like this and our soldiers should be required to treat prisoners well. anyone hear the story of the British SAS soldier who was POW'ed in the first gulf war...after his daily beatings they'd give him a pie plate like dish to crap in...when he finished they'd make him take it outside to get rid of the mess...Oh yeah, and then they'd make him LICK IT CLEAN. once again, I think this is horrible and we are better than this, but seriously these f***ing mooks in washington want to use this against Bush instead of doing the f***ING RIGHT THING and bring this into a world light and say "we need to update and reaffirm the geneva convention."
