AAA International League new comers for 2008
sox4lifeinPA replied to sox4lifeinPA's topic in The Diamond Club
QUOTE(Jim Spencer @ Jul 28, 2007 -> 01:15 PM) I love Minor league Baseball I'm actually going to see the Knights play at Indianapolis tonight (2 hour drive). Where do the Philles' AAA team play this year? And where is Lehigh Valley, Pa? Iron Pigs; Steel Making?? I've been to a handful of games over the years. The Phillies have minor league teams in Reading (NW of Philly) and are now moving AAA to Allentown (the Lehigh Valley) from Scranton (The Office). I saw the Knights when Crede and Borchard were playing a few years ago in Scranton. The phillies AAA is in Ottawa for this season only. You are correct. Bethlehem Steel, in Bethlehem, PA, is a part of the greater Lehigh Valley. Next year should be great. Cheap tickets to see future WS players. Can't wait. -
so he's just there sleeping....what's the big deal if he starts wacking off, I'm gonna be pissed.

Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs AAA International League. Can't wait to see the Knights come to town. New Stadium should be great. I'm probably one of 3 people on soxtalk who cares, but I thought I'd share.

Illinois Babysitter Charged With Pimping Girl in Her Care Saturday, July 28, 2007 GRANITE CITY, Ill. — A Metro East baby sitter is being held on charges she allowed a man to have sex with a 12-year-old girl in her care for money. Amber Salts, 20, was charged Friday with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and pimping. Salts allegedly took the girl to the Granite City home of 48-year-old Larry Westwood on July 18 and July 25 and allowed him to have sex with her, said Madison County sheriff's Sgt. Mike Dixon. Westwood allegedly paid the girl $140 after the assaults. Officials say she split part of the money with Salts. Westwood has been charged with two counts of predatory criminal sexual assault. Dixon said Salts was once "romantically involved" with Westwood and knew that he was assaulting the girl. The girl was treated at a local hospital this week and released with no physical injuries. Salts and Westwood are being held at the Madison County jail. Salts is being held on $7,500 bond. Westwood's bond is $150,000.

I've been hearing this word lately and I think it is... The best "gay" word ever: Fabulous To me, it's descriptive but also non-judgemental.

QUOTE(3E8 @ Jul 28, 2007 -> 11:11 AM) But if you are drunk behind the wheel and kill someone it is because you actually hit them, they are doing nothing wrong. If the criminal killed someone while in the car chase because he hit them then I would definitely put him at fault. What if the air traffic controller made a mistake by letting one of the copters into an area or one of the pilots weren't following proper protocol and because of his mistake three lives were lost. I don't know where the line can be drawn. Could someone watching the story say they now feel depressed and sue this guy? The criminal obviously needs to serve some time for his actions, but with a homicide charge many many more years could be added to his sentence. I get what you're saying, but there are consentric circles of connection to this guy causing a police chase. Level 1 - any officers or bystanders directly connected to the chase Level 2 - any peripheral media or bystanders Level 3 - non-direct encountering individuals The suspect would be responsible for Level 1 & 2, as long as it related directly to the incident

What does a guy who makes millions want with a "business" that barely makes thousands? I don't understand that part. -
QUOTE(Brian @ Jul 27, 2007 -> 06:22 PM) "The Dark Knight" wonderers...go to http://www.whysoserious.com/ Click the small static box after the word "hunted". 1-800-395-9646

wow. I don't believe the guy should get charged with "Homicide"...but Manslaughter isn't outside of logic. Yell "Fire" and people get trampled and killed it's your fault. Drink and Drive and kill someone and it's your fault. Cause a Police Chase that leads to someone's death...I think it's your fault. you can't really say, "well if I had known....I wouldn't have done it"

Me and Mrs just finished season 6 last night (she hadn't seen it...I, on the otherhand, have seen the entire thing 3 times) I want JD to be with Kim. It's the right thing to do. If there wasn't a kid, then he should be with Elliot. It pains me to say that, but it's true. Although.........maybe Bil Lawrence lured Zach Braff back with the JD and Elliot get together forever story that BL hates and JD loves.??!?!?!

Burj Dubai also under construction

it looks like a screw, which makes sense to me: A constant reminder of what Chicago Sports Teams will do to their fans year after year.

QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Jul 27, 2007 -> 01:08 PM) Exactly. But I feel pity for her too. Her mother was/is a complete putz and the father wasn't around due to jail etc. So neither were appropriate examples for her of appropriate behaviors. She grew up with no real examples of personal responsbility, positive ways to cope or deal with stress and how to try to stay centered during stressful times. As much as what LiLo does is completely asinine, I can't completely blame her for everything because her home environment from when she was young was so impressively f***ed-up. It's sad and disappointing but it doesn't completely excuse what she's done either. you mean she wasn't predisposed genetically to be an F*** up?

QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Jul 27, 2007 -> 12:32 PM) She looks like the start of one of those "10 years of drug use" photo logs that the police have to convince people of the damaging effects of drugs. Cocaine is a hell of a drug. It's amazing to see how people handle stardom. Some people recognize that their "talents" are disposable and perishable, so they work hard to keep and develop them. And then there are losers like Lohan and Vick who just piss it away. Surreal Life 32 will star Vick and Lohan. Put it on your calendar.

looks like "Alpha Dog" to me... It's sad that this culture even exists.

QUOTE(Steff @ Jul 27, 2007 -> 11:11 AM) Seems a whole lotta states need to get on board with prosecuting this behavior.. Legality in the United States As of May, 2006, there is no federal legislation specifically barring sex with a corpse.[16] Multiple states have their own laws: Alabama - Class C felony under 13A-11-13 Alaska - Class A misdemeanor under 11-61-130 Arkansas - Class D felony under 5-60-101 California - Illegal, up to 8 years in prison Colorado - Class 2 misdemeanor under 18-13-101 Delaware - Class A misdemeanor under 11-5-1332 Florida-- Second degree felony under chapter 872.06 Georgia - Felony, up to 10 years in prison under 16-6-7 Iowa - Class D Felony [1] Hawaii - Misdemeanor under 7 Michigan - Class A felony; life in prison Oregon - Felony for "Abuse of Corpse" ORS 166.085 Texas - Class A Misdemeanor [2] Pennsylvania - Second degree misdemeanor under Title 18 §5510 Washington - Class C Felony for "Sexually violation human remains" RCW 9A.44.105 Minnesota and Nevada also have laws prohibiting necrophilia [17] But now we have an overabundance of chicken f***ers.... apparently that's the next best thing.

QUOTE(Brian @ Jul 26, 2007 -> 09:26 PM) Baxter Bean ruled. I remember tuning in to watch it one week and it was off. Didn't they have a show early on about a werewolf? yeah! I forget what it's called. It freaked me out as a kid.

QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Jul 26, 2007 -> 02:53 PM) I remember liking that movie... do you also enjoy drowning puppies?

QUOTE(AssHatSoxFan @ Jul 26, 2007 -> 12:31 PM) but his face got sliced off which made it all worth while and who doesn't enjoy some gunkata you, sir, are guilty of a sense crime... Christian Bale was great in that movie, which required the actors to have no emotion; however, they should have called up Hayden Christianson and Ryan Fellippe, who are the Drab Actors of American Movies (otherwise known as "DAAM!") spokes people, to star in this film. See "Broken Glass" and "Breach" for perfect examples.
