  1. QUOTE(kapkomet @ May 19, 2005 -> 03:01 PM) Rafa - Agriculture economics is not my field of specialty, but in the grad school I'm in currently, there are people that have spoken very highly of A&M's program in this area. Thanks, Kaps! Yeah, I heard it was top 10 in the US in Ag Econ. UGA is not even close...
  2. QUOTE(TheBigHurt35 @ May 19, 2005 -> 02:48 PM) From what I know of College Station, it's a nice town with plenty to do. It's also very football-oriented (much like the rest of Texas). And if you're a Republican, you'll probably enjoy the Bush Presidential Library. Is there any good bars? Sometimes it is good to have some beers and know few girls And the weather? I believe that in the winter it is not that cold. I know it is 100 miles from Houston and 130 from Dallas.
  3. Lol. I am nothing...but thanks for the info. I dont like Bush, but I dont want to get in to this. I dont know where to go. I have 2 options Univ. of Georgia or TAMU...I know the best program in Ag. Economics is in TAMU between those universities.
  4. Because I would like to receive any information about College Station, TX. I know it is a small city, and Texas A&M is located in there. Maybe I will go there for my MS degree in Agricultural Economics. Thanks!
  5. Me too. However, this series can bring more fans to our park and, consequently, increase our payroll next season...
  6. I hope Freddy will pitch well this time...And Duque's last outing was nothing to be taken seriously and he pitches a hell of a game.
  7. I was thinking...this trade won't happen. It would be easier to us get Blalock for minor lague pitching. Rangers are always on pursuit for pitching. And Blalock would be awesome...low salary, an All-Star...
  8. QUOTE(jackie hayes @ May 19, 2005 -> 11:28 AM) Miggy Tejada ever done? Lol..it should be in green...
  9. QUOTE(tonyho7476 @ May 19, 2005 -> 11:09 AM) I bet the Sox are counting on not signing Crede, due to the Boras factor...but we have Josh Fields. This doesn't really sound likely. Fields can change position and go to 1B, after a huge contract like Chavez, PK would be expendable...
  10. QUOTE(Jabroni @ May 19, 2005 -> 10:59 AM) Well, they suck right now but will probably be good in the future with their young talent. Maybe Beane wants to dump his contract so he can clear up some money for the future? Here's the thread from the MLB.com A's board... "Eric Chavez to the Whitesox?" http://www.forums.mlb.com/n/mb/message.asp...g=36586.1&ctx=0 Keep in mind it's a MLB.com board and they are filled with lying trolls. I think that Chavez is trade"able". They get rid of Mulder and Hudson, great SP that nobody would said they would be traded.
  11. What PK said is just atrocious. He can go in the end of the season. 1Bmen are easy to find...but if he wants a contract below what he is earning now, lock him up.
  12. Yesterday line up was very good. I love to see AJ hitting 5th, between PK and Die. RH, LH, and RH!
  13. What I would like to know is: how is his ankle next day? Is there an article saying something about this?
  14. I hope that ESPN Latin America will show this game. I am hunger for a Sox win while I am watching. Last Sox game that they showed here in Brazil was that Sox vs Twins in the beginning of the season, and the result...MB pitched bad with a 3 Run bomb from Hunter. Also, Johan picthed well.
  15. QUOTE(Iguana @ May 19, 2005 -> 10:40 AM) interesting. depends on the minor leaguer. as long as it's not Honel, Mac, Anderson, Sweeney....i'm probably forgetting a few other studs. Honel??? Lol...he is always hurt! If the A's trade a franchise player like Chavez, it won't be for Joe Crede and Kris Honel...
  16. QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ May 18, 2005 -> 05:59 PM) I just saw a commercial for SC. They said "Were does Jon Garland's perfect start rank all time?" I'll post updates when it comes on around 5.
  17. Cudd-iary: Staying positive the key But we will still win the division....
  18. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ May 13, 2005 -> 11:38 PM) Even when Dead is on base he kills rallys., Oh well, Kong came through BIG TIME tonight. I think he's about ready to start kicking some ass. Finally Kong showed up...but Die..is Dead.
  19. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ May 13, 2005 -> 11:36 PM) Good to see Buerhle pitch a little better in a night game. Tads, Pods and Paulie come through tonight to get the job done. Where is Die??? He was clutch!
  20. There is a lot of RFers that we can get. I rather take Jose Guillen and his contract than get Wilson...Jose Guillen's stats: http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/players/profile?statsId=5753 He is making 3.5 mil this year...
  21. Great K agst Tejada with man on third!! Cy Garland!!!
  22. QUOTE(fathom @ May 12, 2005 -> 09:28 PM) 28 pitches for Chen according to yahoo. 28 on Cbssportsline...
