QUOTE(Steff @ Mar 24, 2006 -> 02:09 PM) IN bars. http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20060322/us_nm/bars_dc Wed Mar 22, 6:05 PM ET SAN ANTONIO, Texas (Reuters) - Texas has begun sending undercover agents into bars to arrest drinkers for being drunk, a spokeswoman for the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission said on Wednesday. The first sting operation was conducted recently in a Dallas suburb where agents infiltrated 36 bars and arrested 30 people for public intoxication, said the commission's Carolyn Beck. Being in a bar does not exempt one from the state laws against public drunkenness, Beck said. The goal, she said, was to detain drunks before they leave a bar and go do something dangerous like drive a car. "We feel that the only way we're going to get at the drunk driving problem and the problem of people hurting each other while drunk is by crackdowns like this," she said. "There are a lot of dangerous and stupid things people do when they're intoxicated, other than get behind the wheel of a car," Beck said. "People walk out into traffic and get run over, people jump off of balconies trying to reach a swimming pool and miss." She said the sting operations would continue throughout the state. Heh..I think this is applying to just those drunk guys that bother "less" drunk guys. Sometimes down here I get drunk and don't bother anyone...hehehe...actually, I don't remember if I am bothering someone...

QUOTE(The Critic @ Jul 4, 2005 -> 10:50 PM) I'd just like to say that Mother Nature is a heartless b****! I WAS at the game today, but I had to leave early because I work tonight. I probably could have caught 6 innings or so if it hadn't rained, but it did so I didn't get to see one pitch and now I'm gonna be away from my desk for about 3 or 4 hours. So a big ol' :fyou to Mama Nature.....THANKS FOR NUTHIN'!!!!! .....and go Sox..... That sucks...

Twins' Manager is starting to get worried! In the last few games, he is feeling his players are getting complacent and believing that they can come back... Let's go Sox! Keep winning and they will start to get in panic!

QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ Sep 5, 2004 -> 10:44 PM) You ain't never heard of El Chupacabra? They're miniature devils that are found in Mexico and Central America. They feast on goats. As a matter of fact, Chupacabra is spanish for "Goat Sucker". And I purchased one last year, mostly to keep the suckers at bay. Central America? It appeared here in Brazil too. This thing sucks cow's blood.

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jun 17, 2005 -> 01:07 PM) On Silvy and Carmen Bruce Levine is on and said that before the interview Padilla came up to Buehrle and said "I'm rooting for you guys to lose this weekend cause I'm a Dodgers fan." If that's true that's one of the most unprofessional things I've ever heard. Changing subject?

QUOTE(Jabroni @ Jun 17, 2005 -> 09:09 AM) http://www.suntimes.com/output/sox/cst-spt-ssep17.html It's got to be Maddux. That guy is licking his hands CONSTANTLY when he pitches. And Maddux is sinker ball pitcher...see the connection, Garland and Maddux. He was thinking about a sinker ball pitcher to use as an example that is having success without cheating, and the example is Garland.
