I loved watching the Angels take BP at Sox park a few weeks ago. Just practicing their fundamentals and hitting the other way and hitting line-drives. It was great, watching them take BP and not play HR Derby.

I can appreciate a homer announcer but not Hawk, with his "Crede > A-Rah" and "Stretch!" and "DADGUMMIT!" which is frankly the worst call I've ever heard from an announcer.

It's obvious that AJ Pierzynski is the future of the White Sox broadcast booth.

I don't think the Braves will offer arbitration, either. They had a bad experience with that when they were forced to give Millwood away to the Phillies because they'd offerred Maddux arbitration thinking him gone, Maddux found nothing, accepted, won and handcuffed them. They don't want to risk the same thing with another Boras client although perhaps they do offer arbitration. Who knows.

And that's all I have to add to this discussion since there is no victory and the "discussion" would be endless and mind-numbing ("Wrigley is a dump," "I like Sox Park churros," "HAIL" -- f*** that)
