A-Train better than Jones
The Bears seem to be trying to get away from the pussy offense of 3 yard runs and 2 yard passes. Jones has more speed than ATrain, so they can run to the outside now, plus he can catch out of the backfield.

Frank Thomas 2000 MVP?
A lot of steroids f*** up your joints and tendons, which obviously would be really bad for a pitcher, but some don't. From a Dan Patrick article: From the 2002 SI article:

Frank Thomas 2000 MVP?
Maybe they knew and just didn't care. Casual baseball fans like to see guys hitting 500 foot bombs and throwing 100 mph, not fundamentals. The '98 HomeRun race, led by 2 potential roid-poppers, is what got a lot of fans back into baseball after they were turned off by the previous strike. The players union likes huge power numbers and the cash that comes with them.

Why I didn't renew my tickets this year.
Well yeah, they're related through price. But I'm sayin that there aren't going to be fans popping up just because there are a few less seats. People might be willing to pay more for the big games (ie vs Cubs, late-season in-division games) that sell a lot of seats, but not for the rest. Also, isn't the seat reduction occuring in the upper deck?

Demand is independant of supply, but I get what you're saying. I don't think it would really apply unless they were selling out.
