  1. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 11, 2011 -> 09:30 PM) After seeing how Morel looked last time, I would have gone with Omar. This.. exactly this... Contact hitter, and a quality defensive replacement if he doesn't get the run in.
  2. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 11, 2011 -> 09:28 PM) What is his choice there? If he uses Dunn, they give him the intentional pass. Omar?
  3. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Apr 11, 2011 -> 09:27 PM) Shocker Morel saw 3 pitches and swung at 3 pitches. He's gonna have to work on that..
  4. Thornton needs to go back to the 8th. I'd rather see Crain take the 9th at this point.
  5. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 11, 2011 -> 09:06 PM) MTINAC I thought of posting this acronym earlier this week, but didn't. You beat me to it.
  6. Now the question is whether Buehrle gets the 9th.. He's at 99 pitches.
  7. Buehrle at 91 pitches. In a 1-0 game, you've gotta think he's got kind of a short leash in the 8th.
  8. QUOTE (knightni @ Apr 11, 2011 -> 04:54 PM) I split that to a new thread. I think it deserves its own topic. Thanks!
  9. QUOTE (PeavyTime @ Apr 11, 2011 -> 05:04 PM) My friends and I were at the game saturday, but just decided what the hell, let's go again. Beautiful day, awesome team, half price, Buehrle on the mound. There should be 30000+ at the game (but there won't be). I'll be there tomorrow (in the Patio) and Wednesday. We were really close to making it a trifecta by going out tonight, but it looks like we're just gonna hold off and enjoy it on TV.
  10. I'd love for it to be something atypical like Lillibridge or Juan, but I have a feeling it'll be Konerko.
  11. QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 11, 2011 -> 04:44 PM) Watch it be Lillibridge. That'd be awesome. I love me some Elf-magic!
  12. I used to frequent The Auld Dubliner in Bolingbrook (and by frequent, I mean I was there nightly). Since they closed, I haven't found myself a new home-bar. I really enjoyed the quiet-ish Irish pub feel and nothing in the burbs has grasped me in my drunken wandering over the past year.
  13. Per Chris DeLuca's twitter: Entering tonight's game the White Sox have 9,999 home runs in their 112 year history. Who gets number 10,000??
  14. QUOTE (SouthsideDon48 @ Apr 10, 2011 -> 02:47 PM) lol, that'd be awesome. Maybe with a headline like: "Hats off to the Sox, takes 3/4 from Rays". if it were their third win in a row, something like "Hat Trick! Sox win third in a row." would be perfect as well. Both back pages will probably be Bulls or Hawks though, which is reasonable with both of their seasons being in the balance.
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 10, 2011 -> 02:29 PM) Lots of people probably missed that home run on TV. I flipped back to the Sox to see the ball in the air, my timing has been impeccable today, I think i've seen every exciting moment of Chicago sports today.
