TA isn't the guy you want with RISP this year, even before that AB. His numbers are great when he's leading off or no runners are on, but the exact opposite with RISP.
Wow, testy much? No one said AV was the biggest issue that inning, I'm pretty sure. Almost every comment did reference the inability of our catcher to........catch.
Sure, Pollock is definitely not the best defensive OFer...and he is still light years better than Vaughn. It is the 8th inning, your offense has sucked yet again to scrape out 3 runs, you can't have a defensive liability out there.
Like I said, we're 33+ games into the season, and this offense has managed to have 1....ONE....blowout game win. No way, with this supposed offense, should that be remotely acceptable.
Anyone care to guess how many 'low stress' (a win of 4 or more runs) the White Sox have had this year?
