Joe Kelly, healthy, is beefy.

Nice loafing, Yoan.

Remember when Haesley had that good game? Seems so long ago now.

OMG Romy Gonzalez!

Uh...how did he get hurt on that?

Lynn has definitely pitched well enough to win, someone needs to find a decent approach at the plate, and do something offensively.

In from left, out to right.

Thanks, wind!

Who had 'Romy Gonzalez' as the first hit for the Sox today?

Really making Hernandez work, so far!

The Clint Frazier era begins! We heard you like bad defense in RF, so this should be a real treat!

We can support him, and still realize that he has no business as the leadoff hitter right now. Not that this team has a lot of options, but Benintendi is as close to a leadoff hitter as there is on the roster, after TA. Move TA down in the order until things click or he's not ailing, and go from there.

You're going to have to put Beni as the leadoff hitter, you can't continue to allow this debacle at leadoff.

Burger is 8 RBI behind Vaughn, in half as many ABs.

Burger > Vaughn AV needs to be like 7th or 8th at this point.

Good gracious man...seriously.

Why does this feel like a 3-2-3 double play waiting to happen?

Don't wanna be 'that' guy, but well loved hitter Andrew Vaughn is only 37 OPS points ahead of Benintendi at this point...

Gio deserves some real run support today. Unfortunately for him, we have a 7-8-9-1 that are useless, and only 3.5 competent hitters in the lineup.

Surprise! Man on base, TA pulls every ball he made contact with.

Jordan Lyles, he of the 'north of 7 ERA Lyles', has allowed only 4 hits, with 5 K's.

A team this putrid on offense, can't punt an OF position for defense over offense. Gavin is good enough, for now, until the organization gets its head out of its ass and realizes Colas is the right option. This team is proving it right now, you can't set up your offense with 3 automatic outs at the bottom of the order, when the top 6 have their own share of problems. Haesley has no business starting a MLB game, ever. If it is because Gavin is hurting after the slide yesterday, then sure. But normally, Haesley is about as useful as Romy Gonzalez, and that isn't a compliment.

Slider sort of deserted Lucas that inning, but the changeup delivered.

"Well, we got you 2 Lucas. You should be good to go."

Better be good on defense like that, Haesley, because the bat doesn't play.
