Alexei with that sparkling .246 OBP. And that .323 from Avi seems like it is the lightest .323 I can remember in a long time. It just seems like a guy with that many hits, but only 18 RBIs, clearly isn't hitting when it matters.

Well...I guess one saving grace, is that the Rangers pitching is nothing special at all.... of course...they haven't faced an offensive juggernaut like the Sox yet this season!

You want to know how bad this offense is, right now? 7 Game Homestand vs 2 other 'worst' AL Central Teams 6 Games (so far) 10 Extra Base Hits 39 Hits 14 Runs 7 for 37 with RISP Pretty bad stats, if you were on the road and playing tough competition....but we're at home, against our division cellar dwellars...let that sink in for a bit.

Man....that Melky signing....he looks like he has about as much swing power as Rafael Belliard right now.
