Capn12

And that's that. So we go from having a good shot to sweep a 4 game series from a dead Red Sox team, to splitting at best, and wasting a great Sale effort.

We've had our share of guys in the rotation, over the years, who didn't get proper run support...but I can't remember it being this bad, in quite some time.

And.....here we go.

This scene has played out in front of Quintana before...

Beckham totally locked in against Jon Lester...

Alexei continues his plummeting freefall...

Only a White a Sox bullpen can turn a 4-0 Chris Sale lead, into a 5-4 loss to a lifeless Boston team.

Hell, Sale coulda did that...pathetic.

The sheer number of 2 out runs this bullpen has surrendered this season, is mind boggling.

REMOVE THIS ASSCLOWN FROM THE game

Ah, this bullpen....so clutch.

Great idea, to not attack the strike zone, and allow Cano up with em loaded. Surkamp, feel free to leave the organization.

Who knew it was damn near impossible to find a LOOGY capable of throwing actual strikes.

14 innings, 4 hits. Comical. Part of that I expect with Felix, but post-Felix, what'd we get, 1 hit? Wow...

Well, at least the blown lead wasn't another Quintana lead. 5-7, with a 3.20 ERA...what support.

Uhh...really?

QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 5, 2014 -> 06:39 PM) Yep, and as I keep saying, at least the core of this team looks pretty damn good (Abreu, Eaton, Sale, Quintana) It is a sad realization, when I look at that, and realize that the 'core' consists of only 4 players, well 5 if you count Avisail possibly....so so many holes in this roster to fill.

QUOTE (South Side Fireworks Man @ Jul 5, 2014 -> 06:28 PM) When they put the scores on the bottom of the screen it makes Belisario look fat. I think it's the fat, that makes Belisario look fat.

Not even looking anywhere close to the runner on 1st...this doesn't bode well.

That was the worst pitch I've EVER seen...only Eaton made a miraculous catch.

So lifeless and dreadful on offense when it is the bottom of the order.

Noesi vs Walker tomorrow? We better find a way to win this one, to win the series.

To try something different, we're going to walk the leadoff guy.

If you're going to PR for Abreu, you have to do it at the beginning of the inning. Then, perhaps he is at 3rd, in this situation. Weird to make the change with 2 outs..

What a pile of horses***.
