  1. Give me Oscar Colas, Lenyn Sosa, Braden Shewmake, Jose Rodriguez (oops!), all of the non veteran garbage, in the lineup, everyday.
  2. I admit, I've not watched a single pitch this season, not worth supporting this debacle at the moment. But...I just wanted to go look at stats, and.....you're telling me this team has 7 HRs and 15 RBIs TOTAL, through almost 10 games??? No one should be at the stadium, watching this effort by an indifferent front office.
  3. Batting leadoff is about the ONLY redeeming quality Benintendi has. And we won't even do that, in favor of Robbie F'n Grossman.
  4. Look at that lineup..... HAHAHAHA Guy who is a career 327 OBP guy when leading off, gets the call to lead off.
  5. Now that the Marlins got a win, we should be on a fast track to DFL in baseball. All aboard!
  6. Now that it is all over.... I do think we should all be thankful for the exposure to the WNCAA that Caitlin and the media brought in. Her run this season was great for folks to jump in and follow along with, and there is no doubt that she is a fantastic player. BUT, I wish she had done a little less whining all season, a little less 'heat check' ridiculous shots. I clearly had a reason to not be a fan in this game, but overall, it has been great. And Dawn Staley is a national treasure. To not only make a run to the title with a completely new starting 5, but to do it FLAWLESSLY is something that can't be understated.
  7. As expected, so far we’re not allowed to breathe in the general vicinity of Clark without it being a foul.
  8. Oh, I'm SURE this will be a fairly called game Sunday night... ? Somehow, Iowa has only committed 63 fouls in 5 games. By way of comparison, their opponents have committed 90. 106 FTA for Iowa, vs 60 FTA for their opponents. Time to overcome more than just the 5 Hawkeyes on the floor.
  9. Glad we signed a veteran presence in Martin Maldonado, to replace and be even worse than the previous veteran presence catcher.
  10. I'm out here in Gamecast only land, so I don't get to see them sadly. First year in forever I refused to pay for MLB.tv, with this squad.
  11. I'd say it is a bad reflection on our team for there to be so many tickets available for Opening Day... But this ownership and management regime is getting EXACTLY what it deserves, with a pile of empty seats.
  12. Welp....lets get this 2024 debacle started, I guess..
  13. Sadly, we're not very good at most sports, so anything that is successful, it is easy to become a normal watcher.
  14. When your supported university's Womens team has lost 1 game in 2 years, yeah you tend to watch the games. Since the mens team is out, why not?
  15. Don't even get me started on the witch in charge, there.
  16. LSU is consistently 'that' type of team on the court...
  17. I mean...for good reason. One team took 30 FT attempts, the other took 5. One team had 27 fouls called against them, the other had 11. Hell, Iowa only made one shot from the floor, the entire 4th quarter, yet scored 16 points in the quarter. This was a terribly called game.
  18. Brother, you got that right. Obviously, I have some bias as a South Carolina fan, but EVERY play, if the ball is in her hands, its either a made shot, or a whine about why it wasn't a foul/someone else's fault. Very Tiresome.
  19. To be fair, South Carolina should have the easiest path. It should be the reward for being the #1 overall seed.
