  1. Sweeney has some adjustments to make still. Any ChiSox fan can see that at this point, even the most pro-Sweeney ones out there. Luckily we all know he WILL be back up here, and he has a pretty damn good chance of becoming a solid MLB caliber player for us in LF.
  2. I will give Ozzie alot of credit for one thing: he rarely if ever leaves his starters out there to give them a chance to lose the game. I've always liked that philosophy. If your guy just pitched 6 or 7+ innings, and the tying run is coming to the plate with a couple on base, don't let him have the chance to be a hard luck loser.
  3. Road to teh Show mode on The Show 07 is amazing IMO. Fun stuff. I also have a normal franchise on it as well, I think The Show is above and beyond better than 2k7.
  4. Did someone want some more evidence of pitchers doing a s***ty job against their old teams?
  5. Pour it on, fkers!!
  6. OH MY f***ING GOD AJ!!! HAHAHAHAAH
  7. Only our pitchers would throw back to back wild pitches. Thanks for that Sisco.
  8. Wow. Just.. wow.
  9. HAHAHA!! Are you f***ing kidding me, Vazquez?
  10. QUOTE(fathom @ May 19, 2007 -> 12:40 AM) KW went cheap and brought back Pods after he freaked out seeing what free agents were getting on the market. From everything I've heard in the media and behind the scenes, the Sox wanted nothing at all to do with Pods this year due to injury issues and lack of production. Signing Pods signaled KW's inability to get creative and find this team an everyday LF. If he doesn't play another game this year, he'll be remembered more for his game-winning header than anything else. What header do you speak of?!? /insert boggled look here. I will forever be a critic of bringing back a guy who provided us with 1/2 of a leadoff hitter type season.
  11. Comical. Simply comical.
  12. Lollerskaters...
  13. Comical Ozzie. Give me a GD break.
  14. Lovely foot in bucket approach guys. Its simply amazing we've won 20 games.
  15. Foot in the bucket, ass flailing..love that approach at the plate.
  16. QUOTE(GoSox05 @ May 18, 2007 -> 04:26 PM) Ozuna 0-4 with a error. Nice game. Other third base options were.... Yeah indeed. In other news, face it. Our bullpen isn't that good. People creamed their pants when they saw a bunch of guys who 'can' throw mid to upper 90s, but point me to one that has consistently thrown that hard? Low 90s, straight fastballs get hit by even the Washington Nationals.
  17. Hah. Well thanks again MacDougal. That was an awesome effort there.
  18. God damn it MMac
  19. Thanks for that, Terrero.
  20. Toby Hall rules against lefties
  21. Kong looked excellent on those changeups.
  22. OK, lets not give this one back immediately please, Mark.
  23. And the trend of goving runs back immediately continues.
  24. Buehrle is a poor mans Greg Maddux? What the f*** are the Cubs guys smoking
  25. If Garland continues to fall behind every hitter, a 1-0 lead is gonna evaporate quickly. 45 pitches through 3 IP, only 22 strikes.
