  1. Ya I'm thinking the 5th for Javy, then we'll get into that monster pen we have. No reason to blow it. One of you with gameday up give me a 4 inning pitch count on Javy please.
  2. QUOTE(HeGone33 @ Apr 13, 2007 -> 08:39 PM) HeGone33 Now bring in Masset Eh?
  3. C'mon Javy....this isn't what we wanna see after that last outing of yours.
  4. QUOTE(bigruss22 @ Apr 13, 2007 -> 08:00 PM) well better than iguchi's .167, or dye's impressive .192 lay off him for now, if you complain about one guy then you cant forget about the others who are struggling I apologize, I wasn't aware that I couldn't call out players that are tanking hard.
  5. No way I'm gonna annoit Ozzie as the king of problem solvers just because he was pissed our pitching sucked, yelled about it, and now its alot better....it was against one of the best hitting teams in baseball, and since then, we've gone out and faced a couple of pretty ineffective offenses, therefore making our pitching look that much better. But I WILL give Oz all the credit in the world for standing up and pretty much telling our pitchers to man the f*** up already, and quilt throwing like its Spring Training. But all the talk in the world doesn't make Garlands sinker start sinking more, or Joses splitter dive harder...c'mon guys.
  6. If Juan keeps the same hitting approach as right now, al lyear, our bottom of the order turning over to Pods and grindErstad is looking pretty darn good(minus AJP).
  7. Cleveland and Minnesota have had 'talent' for years now. Only one team from the AL Central has had the ability to use the talent they've got to win it all lately though, and they don't reside in the Mistake by the Lake or the Twin Cities.\ As for pitching, I don't agree there. Pound for pound, I'd take a healthy Contreras, Javy and Buehrle anyday as well. They have been there, won the ring, know what it takes. And most people know that Javy has tons of talent, just not much in the form of mental fortitude.
  8. Thats just eye drops for Nellie
  9. Easy for me: #1 Jose Reyes. #2 Miguel Cabrera #3 Johan Santana
  10. RIP Kurt. I was always partial to Breakfast of Champions myself, Slaughterhouse 5 was one everyone in school had to read and was still enjoyable.
  11. Great pitching ALL series, minus the 9th inning last night. Very impressive series guys, and lets hope the bats are waking up. Jose, Javy, Buehrle, Aaaaaardsma, Sisco, hats off to the pitching. Impressive come from behind in a place that always gives us hell.
  12. QUOTE(WhiteSoxfan1986 @ Apr 11, 2007 -> 06:09 PM) What's Bobby's velocity like? Still s***ty, but seems better mixing the hammer in today.
  13. Thats what I'm talking about, back to back offspeed pitches had Piazza all out of sorts.
  14. Well, this will either turn out brilliant because our closer got his confidence back, or a disaster..
  15. Oh yes, forgot this would be 3rd game in a row...hmm, Aardsma with Masset and Thor warm maybe?
  16. If it holds as a 3 run lead, then yes I say its Bobby time. But be creative with that pitch calling PLEASE AJ
  17. Lets get one back from their closer, return the favor here and get outta town.
  18. Buehrle was pretty damn good SA1. Got squeezed a bit in the 1st, got hit hard and gave up a few hits strung together with walks.
