  1. Can't say I heard the Farmer comment, but I did hear the "Let's Go White Sox" chant, and I laughed when I heard a fan yell "Tracey you suck" just after the base clearing triple.
  2. "All the focus lately has been on Ozzie Guillen. His highly inappropriate comment about Jay Mariotti. His one-game suspension. His recent blowup at rookie pitcher Sean Tracey. His candid view on retaliation. All Ozzie, all the time. But whatever you think about the controversial, politically incorrect manager, everything was right with his team last week. Distractions? What distractions? The White Sox merely reeled off six straight victories, putting a beatdown on the Cardinals, and regained the No. 1 spot in ESPN.com's Power Rankings. 3. I'm pretty close to the cell (the Loop) and it's been dry for the last couple hours. I doubt they'll call this game, but if they do, it would be after 7:00, not before.
  4. Hi Heads, I thought you more than held your own on the show, well done, and you don't stop saying a word until the whole word has come out of your mouth, very cool. Just kidding, Jason, it's an endearable trait!
  5. Cubs down 5-2 in the bottom of the 8th, it looks bad. I don't think we could count on the Cubs to beat Lane Tech.
  6. QUOTE(Hangar18 @ Jun 15, 2006 -> 12:03 PM) I couldve swore I saw a WS Ring on the guys hand (on the steering wheel). You've really got a good eye, when I'm driving on the Ryan I'm happy if I'm even aware of all the vehicles around me, much less noticing rings on the drivers of the other drivers!
  7. After what happened yesterday, I would expect the players (for both teams) to be a bit tense tonight, and some sparks may very well fly on the field.
  8. We get beaned twice, we don't retaliate, and our hitters get demoralized on top of it (what did we have, 3 hits against padillo ain 8 innings?). If nothing else, we should have a very heated match up coming our way at 7:05 tonight.
  9. Thome has done everything we wanted for this team, and more. That being said, I think we can all identify with the intense frustration, during last nights game, when we had bases 'packed with Sox' and only one out, and Thome up at the plate, to be followed by Paulie, and we didn't get a single run over home plate. It looked very bleak, that was the heart of our order, our best hitters, bases loaded, and we walked away empty.
