  2. Damn, how about this defense?
  3. What part of that "jumping catch!" involved jumping?
  4. Exactly why Jr. has no business fielding balls.
  5. QUOTE (46bearsd @ Jul 26, 2008 -> 08:15 PM) its a little delayed, and quality can vary from game to game, but if you have a good internet connection you can watch all sox games, and other mlb games first you need to download the tvants program from http://tvants.en.softonic.com/ then you go to myp2p.eu baseball page http://www.myp2p.eu/competition.php?compet...ipline=baseball and click the link to watch the game you want to watch Thanks for the link, but am I missing something? I don't see a single Sox game on here.
  6. QUOTE (3E8 @ Jul 16, 2008 -> 12:05 PM) I purchased tickets at the Bulls-Sox Academy several years ago, but I can't confirm they still offer this service. There is no actual ticket office per se, you just ask the person in the sports shop to help with buying the tickets you want. When I went, they had all the sections charted and could search for seats around the park just like at the real box office Hmm, that's why there may not be any information about it online. The first time I heard about this was five or six years ago, but I've never got around to trying it. It's always something I've been vaguely curious about, so I'll pop in when I get back into town and report back on the results.
  7. That's what I thought, but I was hoping to be wrong. Somewhat related question: does anyone have an idea how long before gametime the unused players' tickets are released for sale? I'm essentially just looking for a way to buy those on occasion, so if I can narrow it down I can just call the box office at the Cell.
  8. I'd post this in the ticket forum, but it's not quite as well-traveled. Just a quick question: has anyone ever personally been to the ticket office at the Bulls-Sox academy in Lisle? I've spoken to a couple of people who claimed to have been there, but I can't find any information about it online. I'm trying to get walkup tickets without driving down to the Cell.
  9. I've never liked Dotel. Period. Even when he was playing well.
  10. Looks like it should be clearing up:
  11. I heard Ridin' Dirty twice last night for Swish, and Q has 4 Minutes (Madonna ft. Justin Timberlake) as one of his.
  12. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ May 21, 2008 -> 11:37 PM) Question: Does D.J. sah "Uh Oh" because it's his trademark bad homer call, or does he say "Uh Oh" because he's scared that he's about to have to make a home run call? Unquestionably the latter.
  13. Yep, trying very hard to improve on last year's numbers.
  14. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Apr 5, 2008 -> 11:45 PM) Nick Swisher. +1. While he's only batting .263, his OPS is .901 after today.
  15. QUOTE(Frankensteiner @ Apr 6, 2008 -> 08:47 PM) I'm hesitant to do it to another team, but if it were the White Sox starting 0-6 with that pitching, I'd probably be writing us off at this point. Detroit looks f***ed with a capital F. I remember seeing yesterday afternoon on TV that no team has ever started 0-4 and made the World Series.
  16. Well, at least OCab picked a good time to finally get a hit. If you had told me the Sox were going to be 4-2 after this roadtrip with losses in starts by Buehrle and Javi, I wouldn't have believed you.
  17. QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 6, 2008 -> 08:23 PM) Well, another terrible play by Cabrera. How many non-error bad defensive plays can one player make in a week? +1. Sit him down for a day or two and let Pablo play.
  18. Excellent. Verlander puts the DP in order.
  19. It appears Johnny Miller found Oooribe again.
  20. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Apr 6, 2008 -> 07:27 PM) I woulda bet money JD was older. Weird. Magglio's hair makes him look 15.
  21. QUOTE(GoSox05 @ Apr 4, 2008 -> 12:44 PM) Who needs Curtis Granderson when you have Clete Thomas. +1
  22. QUOTE(daa84 @ Apr 4, 2008 -> 12:42 PM) worked for me in firefox I haven't actually tried it myself this year, I'm just speaking from experience the last two years. MLB seems to be using Silverlight now, and I have no idea if it works with Firefox or not. Just pontificating.
  23. QUOTE(soxfan3530 @ Apr 4, 2008 -> 12:41 PM) just got the mlb audio package and cant figure out how to work it. anyone else have problems with it? What browser are you using? If you're using anything than IE, it most likely won't work.
