  1. Down to 4. Jump shots stopped falling for Michigan.
  2. Just too much firepower.
  3. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Mar 14, 2014 -> 11:43 AM) Wouldn't Illinois' RPI still be a killer, even after this win? They'd still only have two top 40 RPI wins (three more teams between 40 and 50). I'm not trying to troll. Is it because the bubble is so soft in your guys' opinion? Compare them to other bubble teams. Shoot, compare them to Iowa. Not much different, just a couple more bad losses.
  4. QUOTE (Brian @ Mar 14, 2014 -> 11:26 AM) Where's this awful Bertrand you guys were talking about? He showed up with a terrible turnover. Illinois hanging around. Need Michigan to stop making all of these threes. Defense has been pretty good so far.
  5. Well, hopefully this random euro link i found with the game won't infect my work computer. The things we do to watch college basketball.
  6. I get espn3, but not espnwatch. Apparently there is a difference?
  7. Ah, dammit. I just saw today's game is on ESPN, not BTN. Guess I can't watch it at work.
  8. Maybe hijacked and then it crashed.
  9. Experts seemed to be at odds about Illinois' chances if they beat Michigan today. Lunardi says they still wouldn't be in the conversation, Yahoo's guy says they'd be a rock solid "in" and are already on the bubble. If they win, and it's a big, big if, that's 8 top 100 RPI wins and 4 against the top 50. With other bubble teams losing early in conference tournaments, that would have to be enough, even with a sub .500 conference record.
  10. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Mar 14, 2014 -> 08:14 AM) Q for those who know this a little better than me. Hypothetically imagine that Tom Izzo was given Indiana's roster as-is to start the season. How do you think they would have done? Maybe slightly better, but not much. You guys had a lot of freshman and freshman make dumb mistakes and are inconsistent. Maybe Izzo stresses getting the ball to Vonleh more, but I'm not sure what else could be done.
  11. What a boring game since we know Miami and Indiana are better.
  12. Why didn't Craft develop a shot in 4 years? That thing is brutal.
  13. What a continuation
  14. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Mar 13, 2014 -> 01:16 PM) He badly needs Vonleh to stay in school. He needs the freshman to not play so loose with the ball too. I'm happy with the win, but Indiana gave up so many possessions. That won't happen tomorrow.
  15. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Mar 13, 2014 -> 01:06 PM) LOL Sheehy, clown ? What did he do?
  16. Get Bertrand out of the f***ing game Groce!!! Jesus, how many more times can he turn it over and still get playing time?
  17. Bertrand is so f***ing terrible.
  18. I see the football officials decided to officiate this game.
  19. I got the flu overnight and had to stay home from work today. I think that's a sign from the gods that Illinois is about to start a 4 day run. Or, the gods are punishing me and they'll lose today in a terrible game.
  20. My buddy lives in Denver and apparently the middle class home market (200-300k) was going crazy recently. Homes for sale a year ago were getting 4-5 offers, all above asking price. Not sure if it's leveled off at all, but he and his wife were pretty pissed about missing out on deals.
  21. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Mar 12, 2014 -> 12:51 PM) I think I'd get bored of Hawaii after a while. You'd also barely see friend and family, so I don't know how easy that would be. It's like starting an entirely new life. Friends and family are a concern, especially since my in-laws only have my wife so I'd be taking their daughter and grandson away. But still, it's a new life in paradise. It's being able to go outside nearly 365 days a year. No more snow. No more ice. No more freezing your balls off. And it's never too hot or humid either. It's just perfect weather. Chicago is literally the worst place in the country weather wise. Yes, other places get colder, but they don't suffer from 100 degree heat with 90% humidity. We get the absolute worst of both extremes nearly every year. We get probably 2 months of good weather a year. F that. I'm over it.

Shameless - still great. Though, I don't think the writers have really set a good foundation for Fiona becoming so self-destructive (relationships, sure, but with her family? definitely not). Walking Dead - a little slow still, but I enjoyed this episode. I'm finding this season to be one of the best, mainly because most of the annoying characters (Carl, Rick) haven't been seen in a while. If they just died would it really be that bad? I also like that the characters are moving, which helps make the audience feel like we're building towards something good/important. Sitting around at the farm or prison talking was the absolute worst. Black Sails - I might be the only one watching but I love this show. It's not Breaking Bad quality, but it's also not Spartacus t-n-a bad either. Characters are interesting, it looks amazing and there's some political maneuvering. Excited for the finale next week.
  23. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Mar 12, 2014 -> 09:02 AM) $$$$$ It's really not bad though. We live in Chicago. If you're used to Chicago prices, you'll be fine in Hawaii. Obviously finding a job with the right salary is the key.
  24. Saw on Twitter there was a report that an oil rig worker saw the plane go down.
  25. QUOTE (greg775 @ Mar 11, 2014 -> 11:39 PM) Thanks caufield. Do any of you think the economy will flourish ever again, enough that everybody is fat and happy again? Have you been around the last few years?
