It’s 14 games. We’re not even 10% of the way into the season. Thru 14 games, they have the same record as last season. Division still sucks so I’m not worried. The Sox are never as bad as they look during stretches like this and they’re never as good as they look during win streaks either. Let’s see how the next few months play out before freaking out.

I don’t think the division got much better tbh. After 13 games last season, Sox were 6-7, 2 games out of first, tied for last place. Actually in a slightly better position thru 13 games this season.

Emotional posters losing sight of the big picture. If Cease and Kopech pitch like #1s all season and into October, this team is considerably better prepared for postseason play than they were last year. The bats will come around.

100%. Aside from the last call, the Reese call was a huge one in that inning. Pagan was struggling big time and falling behind 2-0 would put him in a very tough spot. Why can’t we get roboumps for balls/strikes already? Everyone wants it except the umpire’s union. So dumb.

No doubt Timmy is struggling big time but it’s also fair to complain about the ump changing the outcome of the game in the 9th
