Alexei will get traded for some dope. Micah wont be God. Robertson will be demoted to set-up man then long relief. Penny will be in the rotation. Bryant will be MVP. Cubs in playoffs. fathom will have permanent diarrhea. Dick Allen will find no use for being argumentative any longer. kyyle will transition to a woman... etc. etc..

Its seems like any year in the past that there were high expectations and a buzz around the Sox the season ultimately ended in disappointment. Whenever the overall view of the team is that they greatly improved on paper through FA or trades it just doesn't translate to wins and success. I really hope that this isn't just another one of those years.

Is De La Puente still under contract? He seemed like he could be a solid C in the league.

Listening to an audio snippet of Pace being interviewed about the McDonald signing and I kind of had to cringe. He sounded like a teenager with the way he was talking. He said "We take these things seriously, ya know? But uuummm...". It was the first time I though to myself man I hope this guy didnt dupe us into thinking he was smart. LOL I know its being overly critical just wanted to put it out there. It wasnt just the words he used but it was the way he said them as if he is an aww shucks type of guy.

Bernstein has had plenty of comments on air objectifying women and to be honest it always feels kind of weird when he goes down that road. He is just creepy about it. I have thought to myself if my wife heard me on the radio talking about women like that she would have knocked me into next week. And like many have said, coming from Bernstein who is critical of EVERYONE it just makes this even more of a hypocrisy.

You know, with people like Bernstein who are so extremely critical of everything others say or do will ultimately face the same scrutiny in the end. He brought this upon himself in more ways than one.

Point is, the Bulls arent going to be bad anytime soon. They may be in basketball hell the next few years by having a really good team but never quite good enough to compete for the title but it will at least be something to watch.
