Machado , Jimenez and the almost assured upgrade somewhere else in that lineup before the off season is complete I think it will be pretty good for a start.

Judging by the posts in here now you would think he is in the verge of signing elsewhere. I don’t think that’s the case from what I have looked over so far and what I am seeing on Twitter but I could be mistaken?

From that perspective yes. But I don’t think the Sox are looking to be a bottom feeder team for another year. If they happen to be Pollack would be an option for trade just like the rest of the guys they have signed this off season. I don’t know about that. Draft picks are more of a crap shoot in baseball than any other sport. Pollack is a proven major leaguer. His value is definitely more than a draft pick.

There is no way I would want Harper on this team for the full length of a 12 year contract. Neither would my 19 year old son who is seven right now.

Yeah but honestly I dont know if he would have any motivation to come back. He was being harassed on every post that he made. I guess eventually that would die down but man, I think its going to have to be a real long time until he comes back.

Nah, Dan was definitely a real person. He wasnt a bad follow up until him putting out bad info. He was generally a knowledgeable baseball follow and decent human being from what I could tell. Then this whole thing blew up on him and it showed the worst in him along with it.
