I love seeing the obvious athletic ability, nice physique, nice swing, and nice hair...and believe me I love it all...but baseball is so much as mental as it is physical that I have no real opinion on the kid until I see that come through in game action as well. As far as I know he may really suck at actually playing the game of baseball once others mentally attack him.

I honestly believe Hahn is looking for one big FA signing or trade this off season to ease the heavy lifting for next off season. To do EVERYTHING right as you expect to contend is difficult to do.

I dont know, sometimes I feel like the Sox still have that itch to push the gas because they just cant help themselves. LOL

I know one thing, Pace cannot continue on the same "hit" percentage with his draft picks and FA. He HAS to be better if this is going to come together. If he hits on a a pick and a half and grabs one above average FA its just not going to cut it, no matter what the coaching staff.

The only thing that worries me is that there is way too much high praise of every hire the Bears have had so far. It cant all be true can it?

The Bear offense should have no excuse to not be extremely dynamic next season. Not that they are certain to be great but at the very least they should have a dynamic mix and creativity. One would think they will really look to add some playmakers on offense through the draft and FA but they still need parts on D too. As excited as I am about the staff that is being put together they still have a ways to go in building a real contender.

I actually trust Hahn with this one. He doesnt want to throw away all the prospects and capital hes earned with whitesox fans by blowing it away on a rental. The players he gives up will make sense, I am confident.

Dave definitely gets some good intel but I highly doubt he has something that big before everyone else and is only sitting on it to bring out on his podcast in a few hours. But...maybe he is getting good intel that its reeeeeeally close?

I dont believe Kopech would be in any deal whatsoever. Wild card in this would be a Rodon trade. Keep all the centerpieces of the most recent trades but maybe include sa guy like Adolfo and other lower level guy.
