  1. QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ May 28, 2008 -> 01:28 PM) it should have been in green... nice AV, that's the best lineup they had Thanks man. I like Baker in the band, he's a fine guitar player and don't mind Brooks on drums, he's actually a better drummer than Bobby, but yea...that's the classic lineup there.
  2. QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ May 28, 2008 -> 01:27 PM) awesome, at least sizemore won't turn that walk into a double Good sarcasm.
  3. LMAO...Hail the Indians bullpen...CQ brings in 2 more.
  4. Sucks if Alexei is out...he was really starting to make an impact. F**** ...
  5. Sexy Alexei with another hit...he's been on base all 3 times today. Keep Snacks and Cakes away from this lineup if this kid starts hitting.
  6. QUOTE (Friend of Nordhagen @ May 28, 2008 -> 01:04 PM) And Jermaine's performance is in right was very Jermaine-esque, circa 2007-present. Agree. I saw the Delucci hit...can't tell if Dye should have gotten there, but someone who can move a bit better probably does. And no, they had NO CHANCE to get V-mart at the plate. Floyd does come back strong at least, but damn...
  7. Floyd's performance was very Javvy-esque, circa 2006.
  8. How does that happen? How do you go from dominating to looking like a BP pitcher? Back to the drawing board.
  9. Gavin... 5 innings, 5 hits, ZERO walks, 6 Ks, 1 ER. He's been better than I could have dreamed (and I was cautiously optimistic that he was a good pitcher to take a flier on)
  10. The fact Alexei scored on such a shallow ball underlines the speed factor once again. We didn't really do anything that inning...a walk, a hit, a swinging bunt, a short fly ball, but because we had speed on the bases were able to get the lead. I loved that inning. Now lets see Gav keep the hammer down.
  11. On game day that looked VERY shallow. Those watching it, was it?
  12. Come on......we can really crack this thing open here.
  13. Is it me or does Alexei really look so much better than he did at the very start of the season. If he continues to progress at this clip, we may have someone we can work with.
  14. QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ May 28, 2008 -> 12:04 PM) 100 pitch limit per Wedge via Farmer He could easily go 7...We'll see, lotsa work left. I'd like to get this one.
  15. We got one back and PK got a hit...Floyd needs to keep them right there...Jake the Snake wont pitch a CG in his first game off the DL...just need to be close when they run out their crappy bullpen guys.
  16. Wow, Thome and PK on back to back. and now comes the legend himself..Dewayne Wise. Should be 4-2 shortly.
  17. There is the first of the 3 homers we'll need to win this game.
  18. Gavin Floyd really looks good. They got gift runs in the first and he's really bottled them up since and is pitching very efficiently. Very impressed with Floyd this year.
  19. QUOTE (fathom @ May 28, 2008 -> 11:49 AM) I don't get why Swisher, who's had better at bats lately from the left side, got today off while PK was in the lineup again. Very disapointed with Swisher so far that I am, but I actually agree with you here. Westbrook is a tough matchup for a struggling and banged up PK...and Swisher did seem to swing the bat better last night.
