I knew Lannan was too good to be true.

The ONLY GOOD thing I see about this deal is I guess it could have been Barry Bonds. This PROBABLY takes that insane idea off the table.

If we let Livan Hernandez take first place from us, then what kind of hope is there, really? That guy is a stiff. I'm so glad they haven't replaced him with Liriano or we may be 4 or 5 out.

I like Paulie and this is a sad move for me, but it had to be done. He is simply not producing.

Nice win. I know Wise is a journeyman type, but he has a really nice approach at the plate and provides the speed we lack. With OC, Sexy Alexei and Wise we can run a little bit. The end result of this team is still pitching...Danks was brilliant today.

Im telling you, Detroit is not out of this. If they can get their pitching straight (and their pen will be getting healthy) they certainly have the lineup that can score. Of all the teams, they concern me the most.

Dye is one of the few hitters on this team (Alexei, AJP, Crede and of late Cab) that is earning his paycheck.
