Its good, it saves the pen even if the record was not great. So the question will be who will step up and give us 210 innings to replace bartolo? Will it be Schoney? Wright? Rauch? Any of the othr ove rhte hill broken down pieces of s*** that we signed for the minimum? I think not, therefore as I stated before a trade will need to take place...and it will.

Truly a great point. The answer is no therefore we are a wrse team than last year. No doubt we got worse. We didn't win last year and we won't win this year, and before all of you call me negative, just think about it for a minute, and put down the black Kool aide. We need help and we will need it soon. MVP is clearly in the right on this. As JR always states, its a business, if he doesn't like it, make the ratings better or take a flying leap off a bridge. The guy doesn't run the radio station nor does he have a lot of options. He used the Bulls to negotiate the last contract otherwise MVP would not have chosen to air the whitesox because there are only 15,000 of us plus the people that are on the boards. (tongue in cheek) In my opinion the pressure is mounting on JR. If this team or teams do not progress quickly he will even find his 12,000 season ticket holder base erode, much like the blackhawks.

Well rex thinks his trade value is better now than later. My point is the Whitesox should not pay this guy 14 million per. He is a nice player, solid player, real good player, but he is not worth 14 million. So get something for him either now or later. He is as good as gone to me this year. I am not investing my heart with this guy.

Jim, I don't think the dodgers want two or even three of our guys. Just one, like I posted on another subject to you, I do not think Thomas is going anywhere. See my other posts to you. As far as other teams 1) Dodgers 2) Seattle 3) Mets Hey as long as we get something for him whether its now or closer to the deadline, I don't care. Also, anytime this guy wants to step up and say he will sign a contract with the Sox for 11-12 million then fine, lets sign him. Personally I think its one or two things stopping him from doing that: 1) He wants to move on 2) His agent has him convinced he will get 14 or 15 million next year. (which he won't)

OK then trade his ass right now. Listen I am not fourteen and in love with this guy. If he wants to wait until after the season then we take a risk. Trade him and get some top prospects and one starting pitcher.

Jim, I love you but I dissagree. Here is why: 1) Konerko is believed to have a hip problem who knows how bad but I think the sox want to dump him 2) Thomas has been a life long WhiteSox player, even though things have not gone well for him in the past I think he stays because JR will keep him. 3) I think the Dodgers do not want Frank playing first full time. Defensively I am sorry he cannot keep up with the big boys throughout an entire year. 4) I would want more for Frank than perez. We would need another prospect.I don't think you trade a future hall of fame player who is relatively cheap and hit 40 homers last year for odalis perez. Thomas stays Konerko Goes. PS I hate konerko as You know.
