And Carlos Torres is off the hook. James Shields gets screwed though.
he was pissed when maddon came out, now hes probably extremely angry

Never saw that 96 mph fastball either.
he was awesome for about a month and a half, then they used him to close a game, he blew it, and sucked from then on
iirc

Am I the only one who thinks Tampa is far and away the best team we've faced this season? This lineup is so balanced and dangerous.
they are very good, especially with the season they've gotten from zobrist

BJ Upton 3 years from now, won't be swinging at that pitch bailing out a young pitcher.
will beckham be batting .800 at this time?
not to make this thread sound like a broken record but i love this lineup
7-8-9 of q getz bacon is amazing
remember when it was lilli wise and fields a bunch of times

Percentage of perfect innings of work in save situations this season among AL saves leaders:
Joe Nathan: 15/27 = 56%
Mo Rivera: 14/27 = 52%
Brian Fuentes: 14/31 = 45%
Bobby Jenks: 10/24 = 42%
George Sherrill: 8/23 = 35%
David Aardsma: 8/24 = 33%
Fernando Rodney: 6/19 = 32%
Jon Papelbon: 8/26 = 31%
its surprising how few 1-2-3's there are. for now jenks is 22/24 so hopefully he can stop pulling the high wire act that he has been doing recently.
i love this lineup
lets beat up on niemann tomorrow so richard can have a stress free start
bacon is the flavor of the month
if i see carlos his a few ropes over the fence in the next week it might switch to all of the above
either way it'll be fun to watch the bottom of our order bat
wouldnt ozzie have the same mentality about any of those relievers? not use them in pressure situations until they've proven they can do it. i dont mind that mentality but its hard for aaron to prove he can be used in those situations if he never gets to pitch in games that arent blow outs
