Well Hou won today so 2 seed is probably out of reach. I assume if the wild card winner beats the rays the better record gets home field in the ALCS. For that reason I think we should still try to win out.

The reason the blackout game worked so well the first time was the tickets for game 163 went on sale right as game 162 ended so the entire crowd was actual Sox fans who would actually wear the black. There were no twins fans, and no one there just cause they had tickets from work or something. So it might not look as cool, but I still like them trying it. I also hope we have mostly night games

I was taking my "victory lap" in college in 2008 so I wasnt able to go to the game. Watching it, the crowd was the coolest thing I've seen on tv. Now I'm 35 and live in Portland and watch every game on mlb.tv on my patio.
